Almost inside Hobby Airport in Houston

Posted Jul 4, 2014
Pros: Proximity to Hobby Airport. Comfortable rooms and terrific staff.
Cons: Nothing
Location: It took literally 4 minutes from the time the shuttle left the hotel to arrive at the first stop at Hobby.
The staff at the DoubleTree was outstanding from the front desk staff to the bartender who also took my dinner order to the shuttle driver. All were highly professional and pleasant. No request went unattended.

Clean and convenient. Elevators are oddly placed far from front desk.

I only stayed there one night but the hotel is really nice. The staff is friendly. There was a nice bar but the bartender wasn't as nice. Other than that, I hotel was amazing. I'll definitely recommend to others.

Nice hotel near Airport

Posted Jun 4, 2014
Pros: It was clean, quiet and the hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Also for being located near Airport, it wasn't crowded.
Cons: I wasn't given a bill at the end of the stay. I was told by the Reservation Desk I could not get a copy because I was an Expedia reservation.
Location: I was there for a graduation, so I didn't have time to search the location for activities.
Hotel stay was great. It was very clean from the moment we walked into the hotel. Beautiful and comfortable lobby. There were several events going on, yet you barely saw anyone walking around the common areas. Our room was quiet and very clean. Bed was comfortable and water pressure in shower was wonderful. Food in the restaurant was a little pricey, but for hotel food it was alright. I couldn't get a copy of my bill at the end of the stay to make sure they didn't charge me for extras, so I will keep my eye out for my statement. All in all we had a great night.

Last minute accomodation

Posted May 29, 2014
Cons: Room service food was a little less than perfect, but arrived just as scheduled for breakfast.
Location: Convenient to the airport. That was the only other place I saw.
Great price at the last minute when flight cancelled. Staff very helpful and friendly. Convenient shuttle to and from the airport. Great food in the restaurant, open late, too.

Extremely close to airport

Posted May 28, 2014 on Hotels.com
My girlfriend and I stayed here 4 days. Great hotel with an overall nice look, spacious rooms, extremely clean room. Located 2 minutes for the airport. Other than the fact it didn't have complimentary wifi which all double trees don't, it's a great hotel.

My stay at the Double Tree Hobby....

Posted May 27, 2014
Pros: They had AC
Cons: Listed in box 2
Location: For the kids they had adult entertainment establishments for us to pass by and them to see...
My stay at the Double tree was okay.... Not a lot of amenities No Internet NO breakfast No microwave.... I guess you get what you pay for.... Hospitality is overrated.... Over all cant really complain...

Living Well...

Posted May 27, 2014 on Hotels.com
We've loved Hilton for a while, but his was our first Doubletree stay. The property is more than just a comfortable place to hang your hat for a day or two... Our 9th floor room was posh and luxurious. Everything from the big screen to the HVAC to the thread count was first class. We scoured the www for local eats and finally decided to just stay in house... Entrees were sumptuous and very rea$$onable. Pool has a private, secluded lux feel. All the staff were authentically TX-friendly. Nice parking lot and lobby bathrooms straight out of the Taj Mahal! Can't go wrong here!
