Medical visitPosted Aug 30, 2013
Pros: Breakfast and the evening brunch was great!
Cons: We stayed during construction, so just call to make sure it is complete.
Location: If you are going to visit several places this hotel is central to the hospital, museums and the Galleria.
This hotel was in an good location, but we stayed during construction so it was kind of loud. This was okay because we were out most of the day.

Hotel under constructionPosted Aug 23, 2013
Pros: Room was clean and breakfast was very good.
Location: Close to Hobby Airport but no restaurant in area.
Don't book if you plan to be in your room between 8 am- 6 pm as the noise from the construction is unbearable. I had to go outside in 90 degree temperature just to hear to make a phone call. Hotel said construction is posted on their website but Expedia gave no warning.

Staff was very friendly. Rooms were clean. Beds were comfortable. The entire experience was very good. I would definitely stay there again next time I visit Houston. The only thing is that the lobby (although comfortable) could do with an upgrade. The furniture is quite dated and a little worn. Also a large 60" interactive touch computer screen placed on the wall (next to the lobby desk) would be nice. Something the displays the weather, news, mapquest, events, restaurants, local advertisements, etc. It would be hooked up to the printer inside the computer room. That would be a nice addition.

Pretty nice place to spend a night or twoPosted Aug 12, 2013
The hotel is right off the highway and close to the NASA space center. The area around it has no bell and whistles but nevertheless it was pretty good experience. Breakfast buffet was included, waffles, eggs, sausage patties and some donuts and juice. Pretty decent place overall. 5:30-7pm they offer free drinks (3) and light dinner. They had pasta, popcorn and meatballs. Not the best quality but ok for a quick snack. Felt safe and the room was clean. They are also about to start a renovation though I didn’t see many things that looked old. The pool was half inside and half outside, very convenient and they also have a hot tub. We spent a night there and we had no issues. Overall, not a bad stay I would say it is better than your average hotel in the area.

Good hotel with helpful staff in HoustonPosted Aug 9, 2013
Pros: The value, clean and comfortable rooms, free wireless, breakfast, and parking, and the friendly staff.
Cons: Sprucing up the room hallways would be nice. It would also be good if it had a restaurant.
Location: Houston Hobby Airport area doesn't have a lot but downtown Houston and the Space Center are in driving distance.
My daughter and I stayed at Drury Inn & Suites Houston Hobby as part of our trip to see a baseball game in Houston. We were able to check in at noon. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. It had a small refrigerator and microwave. The wireless was free. The shower had dispensers of shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner that we found unique and convenient. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The included breakfast was a real one with a good number of selections, not just a continental breakfast. Being Houston and not downtown, you do need a rental car to get around but it was only an 18 minute trip into the city for the game and the parking is free.

Ok hotelPosted Jul 28, 2013
We only spent one night at this hotel and it was ok. The staff was friendly. If you are planning on staying one night in Houston this might work for you.
