“returned to this hotel from 5 years ago and again not disappointed”

remebered this hotel from 5 years ago and again not disappointed. attractive and pleasant...the breakfast amazing and consistently good. another couple in our group also stayed there this time.

“Great location.”

Great location and room. The faucet in the wet bar was broken. I had a difficult time turning it on, and after I managed to turn the handle, I realized why--the faucet dripped until we were able to tighten it back. I also had a difficult time getting the room to a comfortable temperature. It was typical warm and humid Houston weather, and I couldn't get cool enough even with the thermostat set at 64. When we first arrived, I couldn't get the TV in the sitting area to turn on, but I finally figured out the power cord to the back of the TV was loose. Aside from those few minor annoyances, the shuttle service was convenient and friendly, dropping us off at a nearby restaurant and giving us the number to call when we were ready to be picked up. Also, we were worried that we would have to sweet talk the bartender to turn one of the TVs on to the SEC playoff game, a big deal in Big 12 country, so we were surprised to find both TVs set to the game during happy hour. The complimentary happy hour and breakfast were the main reasons for choosing Embassy Suites, and we weren't disappointed.

“Busy but Great”

Stayed here during the Girl Scout National Convention. The location was magnificent, within easy walking distance to the convention center. Rooms were wonderful. Clean, comfortable and very fresh and attractive. All the staff we interacted with were professional and friendly. The reasons for not being able to give this establishment solid 5's are that the staff seemed overwhelmed at the front desk, were slower than expected and seemed to wander off even when many people were in line; elevators were problematic; and the breakfast area could be better designed to handle large groups. This is an excellent establishment and I highly recommend it.

“Had a wonderful time”

Some things did not go well upon check-in. However, the Manager and the staff did what they could to make our stay an enjoyable one. The breakfast was good each morning and the staff was very nice.

“Nice Place”

We were greeted at the front desk and able to check in early. The manager was around and at one time stepped behind the bar during Manager's Happy Hour. Was very concerned that all things were good at the hotel. Thank you! Walking distance to the Galleria. Great breakfast served by a chef making omelettes for you. We would go back.
