The only complaint I have is that the bed was extremely hard. There was also a train that passed by every so often.

Trains nearby

Everything was fine about this hotel. I only wrote this review to inform other potential guests to the fact that a train runs nearby and can be heard AT LEAST 4 times in a 24 hour period. I believe it's not the train itself that I hear, but its horn blasting as it passes by. I don't know why the horn is blown, but it's possible that it's not blown each time the train passes. It is possible that a train can pass by without its horn blowing, in which case it is possible that I have not heard the train at all. By the time I wrote this, it has been my first night and I've heard it 3 times in under 12 hours. It is 2:30am as I'm writing this, and heard my 3rd horn a few minutes ago.

Looks good on the outside.

Upon arrival we were greeted with the stench of garbage from every direction. The staff was nice, but when we were assigned our room we were disappointed in the fact that the room was not clean when we got there. The staff gave us a new room but it's was right next to the most wretched smelling dumpster I've ever smelled. Breakfast consisted of a banana and a granola bar. Luckily there was a whataburger next door.

Close and Rebuild

Horrible. Thats all that sums it up. Dirty smelly room. Handles missing from doors. Rust and crud in the bathroom. Faucet leaking bed smelt like urine. Felt very unsafe walking to the hotel. People hanging on outside stairs, smoking, kids running up and down the halls......Great location-nasty hotel
