Excellent location

Posted Nov 17, 2014
Our room was nice, clean, and comfortable. The hotel itself is in a great location next to shops, dining, and sporting events. If need be the staff will shuttle you where ever you need to go. The staff was polite, friendly, accommodating, and eager to assist. If there is a better hotel in Houston I don't know where it is!

Great room with direct access to the pool area.

A great facility with top notch customer service. I went for a weekend getaway and had some travel interruptions on the way there. The staff made up for by delivering wine and chocolates to the room!

Posted Sep 18, 2014

Great place if you at the convention center

Posted Sep 15, 2014
Pros: Room service food was excellent, the staff was very friendly, the had free coffee and tea around the clock, and a nice turn down service.
Cons: The shower was too hot! They fixed that right away, though.
Location: I was only at the convention center so it was very convenient.
I thought the four seasons was a fantastic hotel for my recent convention. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I ordered room service which was guaranteed in 20 minutes and when they were going to be a few minutes late, they called to let me know they were on their way up. The shower was (get this) TOO hot! I reported it to the front desk and they fixed it while I was out at the conference that day. Each night they filled up the ice bucket, closed the blinds, and placed a bottle of water next to the bed. I thought it was a really nice touch. The room and bathroom was really huge! The bed was extremely comfortable, too!

exceptional staff but the hotel is tired

Posted Sep 10, 2014
Pros: Staff & service
Cons: needs uplift.
Location: downtown business district, nice restaurants .
We enjoyed the service immensely as staff were very professional and accommodating. The hotel has a tired feel and our room as we learned backed up to a very loud service elevator running 5am-11pm. We had upgraded to this suite at an additional cost. Upon speaking to the front desk, they removed the room up charge and did buy us breakfast. No turn down service the first evening but brought towels after enquiring about missed turndown.

Tom, thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience. We're quite sorry about the elevator noise -- we are always available to change room type or location during your stay, and would be more than happy to, in order to ensure the quality of your stay! For the missed step in service on your turndown, we apologize & will review with our staff in order to ensure no guest is left waiting. We do hope to welcome you back to Four Seasons, and welcome the opportunity to deliver a flawless stay when your travels next bring you to Houston!

Clean hotel, but not impressive for four season

Posted Sep 6, 2014 on Hotels.com
The hotel staff was very friendly and accomodating. Overall, the place was clean and upscale. We booked an executive suite which we thought would be exquisite, given that this is the four seasons. However, it was rather lackluster and didn't really impress us compared to what we thought this brand was. The furnishings, though clean, looked like they came straight out of the 60s-70s. The bathroom had an old-school, 60's-looking showerhead that blasted water at you with the highest pressure I've ever experienced. It was almost painful. Paint or some type of enamel was chipped in 6 inch area near the drain of the tub, and that drain wasn't fast enough for the pressure coming out of the shower head, leaving you in a few inches of grey water at the end of your shower. Overall, it was a good hotel - very comfortable and clean - but not worth the price we paid for an upgraded room.

Thank you so very much for taking the time to share your thoughts and concerns on your recent stay. We appreciate the feedback, in that it assists us with continually updating our property to ensure the best experience for our guests. We will have our housekeeping and engineering teams alerted for issues in tubs, and of course, with water pressure in the showers as well. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back on your next visit to Houston and deliver an experience in keeping with your expectations!

A disaster

Posted Sep 3, 2014 on Hotels.com
The hotel was over booked and was directed a Westin near by. The Four Seasons comp the room and promised a $100.00 incidental payment. They reneged and failed to pay. Not a happy camper.

Ron, I'm incredibly sorry to hear this, and we as Four Seasons Houston sincerely apologize for your experience. We'll honor the promise made for covering incidentals, of course. You are correct that we were overbooked through an external partner, and while an unfortunate situation, we'd love to make the stay up to you in any way we can.
