Not the nicest compared to some of the other HAMPTONS stayed. Coffee bar up front not restocked and cold water we had to warm up in our room microwave. Keys didn’t work even after getting more. $25 parking!!! Did not know and would have stayed if know.

This was almost the worst Hampton Inn that I have ever stayed in! Hot water in tub could not be turned off, thermostat was broken and we had trouble keeping temperature good, towels, trash emptied and bed made was NOT done every other day as sign on mirror said ( we finally called and towels were dumped on counter and just trash emptied. Did not receive my welcome gift when checked in, later that evening I asked and she said get bottle of water out of little side market.

DO NOT STAY HERE. Rude front desk male staff. They leave hot water and coffee out at a station but they do not maintain the hot water and coffee and do not replace the 6 tea bags and 3 hot chocolate packs that are placed out in the morning. When I asked for a teabag the front desk man said “no, not until morning”. I asked then why is this stuff out? Hand sanitizing stations were NEVER filled. My toilet was clogged and front desk man told me I can come down and get a plunger. I thought he was joking. He wasn’t. I used the lobby bathroom throughout the night bc there IS NO MAINTENANCE ON SITE and he said “plunging toilets is beyond my job scope.” The next morning the hotel manager unclogged the toilet and said “it’s not uncommon for guests to plunge their own toilets”… never in my 20 years of traveling have I encountered or heard such nonsense. Why would a paying guest unclog a toilet? The property is old with peeling wallpaper and outdated yellowing furniture. Stay somewhere else… trust me.

When you came to the desk to inform us about the clogged toilet, our front desk agent also offered to bring you the plunger to your room as well as a room change was offered. All of which were denied by you. We do have maintenance on site during the regular day hours. Some hotels, like full service hotels, do have maintenance around the clock. We unfortunately are not one of those hotels. I wish you would have mentioned the other issues at the time you brought up the toilet incident. I have stayed in a lot of hotels. This was the noisiest by far. People including their own crew talking and slamming doors all night long. I has to check out early and got a quiet and peaceful place.

When my wife came in that evening, the front desk person saw her girlfriend and said she should not let her friend drive due to what they perceived as she had been drinking. My wife then let them know that this was a grown woman and she could not stop her as she had tried. The front desk person told her that if anything happened to her friend that she would be to blame. Clearly, the front desk person was way out of bounds. They were trying to put a guilt trip on my wife. It’s OK to be concerned about someone drinking and driving, but to put a guilt trip on someone that cannot really control. It was way out of bounds.

We train our staff to look out for the safety and well being of anyone within our hotel. It is our duty to ensure all of our guest's safety. If you or anyone else gets behind the wheel when it not safe to do so, we would hope that you or a bystander speaks up for the safety of the person getting behind the wheel. There are other ways to communicate this and will be a talking point to our staff. I hope you understand that our associate had the best intentions for the safety of your friend. The staff was very friendly and the bed very comfortable. I did not care however for the crumbs on the chair at the desk (gross to say the least), the peeling wallpaper in the bathroom, the stains on the wallpaper in the bathroom and room itself and the paneling peeling off the inside of the bathroom door. If given the choice to stay at another hotel next time, I will - not a well-kept property.

Was a decent stay. Little rough around the edges but the place got the job done. You get what you pay for. I booked it just as a place to stay while in the area for 2 nights. Breakfast was decent, pretty standard. But the location was great. Got to everywhere with ease and even taking an Uber around was pretty cheap. They didn’t really share that there was a $20 parking fee per night until I arrived. Which was gated (albeit you had to get “buzzed in” as the card reader didn’t work). Pretty annoying to have to pay that fee. My biggest complaint was that there was a super subtle beeping that was always on, keeping me up through the night. Had to sleep with headphones in. And the door to the hall had a crack large enough to let light in, and naturally enough to hear everything in the halls. Aside from that the nooks and corners probably could use some cleaning and paint. Decent place overall. Keep your expectations grounded.
