“Best hotel near Johnson Space Center”

I found this Hampton Inn to be a very well maintained and restful stop after driving back from Florida. I didn't interact too much with the staff, but the young man that checked me in was very helpful. They even provided me some cutlery and plates so I could finish off some leftovers I had with me. My room was as I ordered : Non Smoking dual Queen beds. I found my bed to be very comfortable and the sheets to be soft and nicely laid out. The room itself was extremely clean and quiet. The bathroom was spacious and very clean. The TV provided was an LCD and I was able to hook up my PS3. I was also finally able to watch Fast Five using the in room Movie service. Though word of warning, the price was higher than a single ticket at the movies. This hotel provided a very nice breakfast in the morning. It provided waffle machines and mix and prepared scrambled eggs with ham. The location was great as there were several restaturants nearby as well as pharmacies and grocery stores. Johnson Space Center was also very close and it made the walking easier ;) Overall the hotel was great and I would stay there again.

“Comfy and upscale for the money”

I booked this hotel based on the reviews and it was a great choice. It was more upscale than I had expected. Beds were great. Breakfast was great. Great waffles. I would stay there again for sure.

Kemah was fun but don't go when it is super crowded

Family-friendly activities

Kemah was fun but be warned that the boardwalk (bullet or beast) boat ride will get you soaked. Take an extra pair of clothes and a towel.

“Great Hotel Other than High Noise Level”

Overall this was a great hotel. My only complaint was the noise level. We heard people walking around upstairs throughout the ENTIRE night and into the morning. You can hear the showers & toilets as if they were in your room. My husband is NOT a light sleeper like me and he even complained the next morning. This is the 3rd Hampton we stayed at on this particular trip and the noise level was completely opposite from the others. Not sure I would stay here again simply for that reason. Positives were the great breakfast choices & the pool was nice & clean.

“Great beds!”

I liked the set up of the hotel. It is only 3 stories high. All the twin bed rooms were on the 2nd floor and all the king bed rooms were on the 3rd. It was just the two of us on the 3rd floor. Very quiet stay! Beds were clean and comfortable. Would stay again.

Area recommendations

If you have kids, check out the NASA Space Center. You can also take a stroll on the boardwalk. There is a restaurant nearby called the Pelican Grill. The atmosphere is not the best, but the food was great and cheap! I would suggest the rubin or the guacamole burger.

“My home away from home since Hurricane IKE”

The Seabrook, Tx. Hampton, Nasa area has been my "home away from home" since Hurricane IKE. I travel frequently and this hotel as been by far the most courteous, Christian-oriented environment close to my residence, which is only 7 miles away. I have always felt warm and welcome each time I stay here. They welcome and treat everyone who walks thru their doors with dignity and respect which allows me the privilege of going back. This is by far the best therapy for peace of mind and the comfy bedding allows me get complte, uninterrupted sleep, desperatly needing due to the Port of Houston's container project in my area! Thanks Hampton Staff - Blessing to all of y'all!!! Hope to see you soon.

“Great weekend getaway!”

My son and his family enjoyed their stay. The room was very clean and the breakfast buffet was great. The hotel provided them with a crib for their baby. The hotel was near Kemah which is where they were going for Boo Fest. They were very satisfied with their stay.

Area recommendations

The Kemah Boardwalk area is a great place for adults and children. Lots of shops, restaurants and rides for the kids (and the adult kids).

“Great Hotel, Great Price”

“Would go there again any time”

Very nice rooms, everything works as it is supposed to. Staff is outstanding. We had issues with the curtains and they just gave us another room. And in the morning a very nice breakfast is waiting for you. Will come again
