I was unaware the location of this particular Hampton Inn was under construction...I mean literally no wallpaper in the hallways and scaffolds in the eating area. BUT! The rooms themselves were PERFECTO and it was very opposite to the hallways. Also, loved the showers!!!

We enjoyed our two-night stay at this hotel. The girl at the front desk was very friendly and helpful at check-in. The amenities page doesn't mention that the rooms have a hair dryer, microwave and refrigerator, so I was pleasantly surprised to find them there. The beds were very comfortable, and all the linens (bed and bath) were of good quality. The two long shelves beneath the sink area were very nice for storing our bathroom things. However, a second chair in the room would have been helpful, if there had been space for it.

Rooms are very small, it was under remodeling, pool was very dirty, hot tub was colder than the pool, and the breakfast was not good, we went to McDonalds.

The hotels utilized for services through hotels.com are not familiar with their procedures. If there is a problem with hotel you must contact hotels.com because that who actually pays hotel not customer

Pros: I love the free breakfast buffet!
Cons: I wish my room was made up earlier. Some days it was still unmade at 4 pm.
Location: This is a nice location on Beltway 8. You've got plenty of nice restaurants in the area and Galleria shopping isn't far away.
I love this hotel. The rooms are a nice size and nicely appointed. The staff is great. I enjoy the free breakfast buffet and newspapers; that's nice to wake up to. It's right on Beltway 8 which allows you quick access to destinations near and far. I also like the free parking; parking often costs up to $20/night in Houston. My only complaint, and it's minor, is that my room sometimes wasn't made up at 4 pm when I got back from a meeting that ended early. I didn't like watching TV in the lobby while I waited on my room. Some sites list this place as 2 stars; it's actually more like 3.5. Overall I highly recommend this hotel.
