“Perfect for our needs”

Its a beautiful hotel. We had no complaints. There were no unpleasant surprises. We got exactly what was promised from Expedia. It was a very reasonable price. The staff was pleasant. No one really went out of their way to help us with anything but that was fine because we didnt need much & this hotel was perfect for the kind of low-profile mini-vacation we had planned. We got a junior suite and we loved it. Very clean. Nice TVs and the bed was very comfortable. Perfect for our needs.

Area recommendations

For a young couple looking to dine out during the day and go to a party at night you should go downtown to Washington Ave. Lots of very nice bars, restaurants and clubs to choose from.

“Great Place to stay”

The hotel staff was super friendly! We enjoyed our stay very much. The room was impeccably clean and the bed was super comfy. The food at the hotel restaurant was very tasty, try their lunch buffet. We had the pasta bar and it was really good. The hotel is very close to the airport which makes it very convenient. You may have to drive a bit to go to downtown Houston but the price for the stay is very very reasonable for the quality of the hotel. If you rent a a car you should be ok or you can take advantage of their community shuttle at NO CHARGE! Overall great hotel, good food, super friendly staff...we would definitely consider staying here again. P.S Don't freak out about the comments others post about not leaving the hotel at night. You should be fine if you don't walk by your self at night. Take your car or the community shuttle.

“Nice”

“Very nice hotel”

This is the biggest and nicest Hilton I have ever stayed at. The room was very nice and the bed very, very comfortable. I did think there was a free continental breakfast (as most Hiltons), but there was not. I would recommend this hotel.

Dining

I highly recommend going to the Aquarium in Downtown Houston. It is only about 9 miles from the hotel. The restaurant at the Aquarium has the best seafood and the atmosphere awesome.

“Great Location”

We stayed at the Hilton for 2 nights prior to a flight out of the country. The hotel was very easy to find and located close to the airport, but not so close that planes were flying overhead. The hotel is beatifully decorated and located close to shopping and eating establishments. There was complimentary Wi-Fi and breakfast buffet every morning The only problem we had is that they used to have areas to do self service laundry in the hotel but removed the machines, so we had to do our laundry at a laundromat (washaria) that was not air conditioned in the severe heat and spent a lot of time in our rental car to keep cool while waiting for it to get done. Overall a great experience.

Family-friendly activities

Space Center Houston was 35 miles away and an excellent place for individuals and families.

“Houston's best hotel”

This hotel is great! The staff are wonderful and the location is very convenient from the airport. There are eateries inside and even a small "store" for guests. The executive rooms are the best and I will definitely reserve one of those again--access to the executive lounge is a huge benefit.
