“Hilton Houston is Great!”

iving room separate from the bedroom. Bathroom is in between. Only downfall is a tub/shower. I prefer a glass enclosure shower separate from the tub, but not a big deal. I would highly recommend it for the ease of getting off the freeway / gas stations / and close to airport.

“Easy stay in Houston, but not close to downtown”

Hotel was great for a quick 2 night stay in Houston. I think it's pretty far from the downtown area but it was just what I needed without needing to see the city. Hotel has a great taxi service they will call for you, and the Starbucks inside was a perfect touch. Rooms were nice and clean. Room service was great and quick too.

“Houston's best hotel”

This hotel is great! The staff are wonderful and the location is very convenient from the airport. There are eateries inside and even a small "store" for guests. The executive rooms are the best and I will definitely reserve one of those again--access to the executive lounge is a huge benefit.

“New Years at the Hilton”

We live locally but just wanted to spend the weekend away from chores, obligations and the same ol' scenery. We decided to spend a few days (the New Years holidays) at the Hilton North in Houston after I read some great online reviews and got a remarkable deal with Expedia. We were warned about the neighborhood (apparently it is notorious for being a bad area), but we didn't have any problems at all. It is definitely a more "urban" area, so if you are uncomfortable with that, this may not be the area for you, but my wife and I were very pleased and never felt unsafe. We had an issue with our room a/c not cooling properly the first night, but two very quick visits from an engineer remedied the problem quickly. We were offered another room but decided to wait for the engineer. The in-room televisions were all-digital flat screens, but seemed not to work very well. The vending machines were a bit pricey ($2.00 for a bottled soda), and room service rates were typically high, but aside from these minor issues, we were very pleased with our stay. The area features a lot of great shopping and dining opportunities (it is located next to a mall with a great all-digital movie theater), the hotel was very clean and the staff were always very friendly. Our room was comfortable and house keepers were very thorough and fast. We would not only recommend this location to our friends and family, but will consider staying here again ourselves when we just need to get away for a few days.
