Good location

The hotel is just 20 min. away from downtown Houston. Unfortunately, there were maintenance repairs at the same time.

Pros: Big room
Cons: Wall (echo) can hear all rooms that's near our room
Location: Near Vietnamese restaurants and stores
When we checked in they didn't have any room for us. Even tho we booked through Expedia w double queen bed. We had to wait for 15 min for them to find us a room. Over all the hotel was good.. The only downside is that we can hear people who walks down the hall and hear them talk one room to the other.. It's not that they are loud, it's just how the hotel is built. We can even hear them whispering.. (Wall is thin).. Other than that the room is great.

Just a little too busy for my liking... I could hear knocking all day and people talking up the hall way all day.

Typical stay. The staff was ok. Not overly friendly by no means. Lots if noise on the floor I was on. Then about three in the morning someone starting using a power saw of some sort.

Outdated

Posted May 8, 2015
Pros: Staff is very friendly and accommodating
Cons: Then entire facility is outdated and looks dark and shabby (the lobby is under construction, but that's not going to solve the overall problem)
Location: Right on the highway. It was convenient to the Galleria
The lobby is under construction, but I am not convinced they will be able to upgrade it enough to reach typical Hilton standards. The rooms are old and kind of shabby. The hotel staff was very nice, but they could not make up for the old and outdated feel of the overall facility.

I enjoyed my stay there, it was a little far from the heartbeat and there was no microwave or fridge in the room. The hotel was booked and going under construction. Len at the front desk was super awesome
