Lobby is nice, updated and clean but get to the rooms and they smell like cigarettes and we killed 2 roaches in our room. We were uneasy about sleeping in the bed but we only stayed one night so we didn’t see the need to throw a fit otherwise i would’ve asked for a refund.

No one was ever at the desk or answered the phone when called. The walls have splatters on them. Property is not maintained. Pillows are like pancakes. My son got sick and got very little vomit on the sheets and the hotel charged $100 extra because of it. The daily stay is cheaper than the damages fee. No plug for the bathroom drain. Hotel is not as advertised.

Worst hotel ever. The lobby smelled of pot. Our room was non smoking but it smelled like an ashtray and there were cigarette burns in the carpet. There also was many other stains in the carpet. The shower had mold, and the walls throughout the room were dirty and stained. The desk chair was peeling, and the lamp shade also had stains. Last but not least, the curtains had rips in them and the window had 2 huge cracks in them. Oh by the way, if you try calling the front desk, the phones don’t work. We left during our reservation and went to another hotel.

The staff was very polite when I checked in. The hotel room was just ok. The lamp plugs did not work to charge your phone or any other device. The telephone (land line) did not work in the. The door lock latch was broken. Room was by the emergency exit so I propped the desk chair under the door knob for the night.

Did not stay. Room looked liked there was a fight and things broken were not replaced (lampshades, glass on picture, damage to wall). A large section of ceiling is in need of repair and an area of the ceiling looked like mold. Bathtub dirty. Worth of all, it smelled. They had no other rooms do I left …hope to get a refund.

There was crayon markings all over the wall, the shower was falling apart and peeling, the bathroom door had been kicked in and put back together by what looked like a 12 year old. The ceiling had obvious water damage, carpet very old and dingy. We showered on towels to avoid standing barefoot, and no one took their shoes off on the carpet. Staff very nice though.

Very friendly staff, and quiet hotel. The room was clean but they need a little updates in the bathrooms. Also the carpet in the halls needs to be replaced. Wasn’t too impressed with the very small breakfast but it wasn’t too bad either. We’d stay again for a night if needed.

When we first got there it smelled like cigarettes and then once we were checking in the girl from the front desk told us we had to pay a security deposit which was never mentioned when we booked the hotel.Once we payed the deposit we went to our rooms (we booked two rooms btw) one of the rooms smelled like straight up cigarettes so we went downstairs to request a new room and which was changed. Once we were checking out we asked for our security deposit (because it’s supposed to be refundable) they tell us we never payed it and it wouldn’t be possible. We were like why if we payed it and it’s supposed to be refundable they told us we had to wait and come back from 10-2 (mind you we were trying to leave at 8 because we live 5 hours away) and they were just telling us that we never paid. After an hour went by they finally gave us our deposit back and we left. Will never book here again!

Really run down
I have stayed at the hotel several times over the last 10 years. However, I had not been there in several years and I have to say, it has really gone down hill. The carpets in the 2nd and 3rd floor hallways look as though there was some acid spilled on them. The bathtub in our room would not stop running and the tub itself was very yellow stained. You could see they had put some tyoe of coating on the tub to update it, but that had also peeled off. One of the dresser was in terrible shape. Broken drawers and splintered wood. The AC worked ok, but it was very damp in the room. That is a typical trait in Houston humidity with rundown hotels. The carpet had not been vacuumed very well. There was plenty of dirt and other debris (hair) where the carpet meets the bed frame. The only thing I can say that was acceptable, was the coffee and the lovely lady tending to the common breakfast area. She greeted me with a smile and was very quick to help clean the spill from my coffee when the lid accidently came off. This hotel used to be one of the best in the area. Not anymore. Next time I'm staying in the area to visit my kids, I'll spend the extra money to be on the south side of 290 by the restaurants.

Room smelled. Property dirty. Carpets stained and in need of replacement. Shower had stains. Window leaked in the rain. Breakfast was less than we expected. The people are trying but they really need to close and renovate. Hallways smelled of incense with a stale weed undertone. Beds were comfortable.

Property lacking a bit at this facility. My main concern was the side entry. While the doors had card readers, they did not work and as a result they were not secured at night and the front desk was not manned for long periods of time, a situation that would allow a bad actor to enter the facility unnoticed. Staff were friendly and helpful but the problem was the Property itself. Its had a very dated feal and has an old moldy odor. Our room did have a few roaches and there were some questionable stains on the wall by the bed, but the bedding was clean and the beds were comfortable. During the night you could her kids running and screamingin the hall but they eventuality settled down and I was able to finally doze off sometime after midnight. Some folks passing thru the parking lot on foot looked a bit shady, but they were just passing by. Truth is they do have reasonable rates and for the money its ok. You get what you pay for, and they do make a purity good breakfast. Probably won't be back but for a one night stay for 50 bucks or so, yeah why not.

The staff was polite. There was a slight funky smell in the lobby that struck me at first, but I eventually got used to it. The hotel has more wear and tear than is depicted in the listing pictures. New carpet is definitely needed. The room wasn't awful, but it was definitely a bit gross. The bathroom was pretty beat up and the bathtub was peeling and yellow. Once you turn the lights off though, you don't really notice it. The breakfast was good and the breakfast staff was polite. Overall, not what I expecting for the price I paid. It felt more like a motel than a hotel.

The property is old and outdated. The rooms are terribly cleaned , there was bleach burns from the carpet to our room. Splatters on the walls , burn holes in the bedding. Holes in the curtain. The room smelled damp. The toilet makes a loud noise when flushed , and the shower waters were cloudy rather than clear. The bathroom stink was clogged up and had an extremely slow drain to it.

If you’re looking for a budget hotel this is fine. It is pretty run down and my room was dirty, stained carpet, dirty walls….would not stay here again. I want to feel clean at a hotel but I never walked around the room barefoot, that’s how dirty I felt.

Needs major renovation. Very used and worn. No shower curtain in my room. Water dripping in the tub. Not a fan of all the Indian Idols. Felt too religious. Had to change rooms due to bed not assembled correctly, mattress old and sunken in like I love Lucy. Stained fabric, dirty carpet.

Horrible Hotel Lobby Misleading
The Lobby was the nicest thing about the hotel. Once you get to the rooms it's horrible. Everything is not maintained there are stains on anything and everything. The smell of the hotel just sticks on you and never goes away. For the price per night you think you would get decent accommodations but so far from the truth. Will never stay here or this chain again. Not family friendly.

We had to ask the room attendant to clean our room as it wasn't done for 4 days, after we requested. The bathroom door was coming off the hinge. The tv didn't work. We actually had to change rooms twice. First room smelt smokey. The second room the toilet wasn't working. Dry stopped working in laundry room. Only good thing about this property was that the front desk staff was accommodating. Good area also. But won't return to this property.
