“Disgusted”

This hotel smelled like smoke. My room stank like smoke, the hallways smelled like smoke and the elevator smelled like smoke. I called to talk to the manager. The lady on duty, Barbara, said that the manager wasnt there. When I asked why the manager was not available. The lady on duty replied, "she just isn't!" I called the headquarters and never received a return call. The following day I needed assistance with my computer. The technical support told me to delete my Norton Antivirus so that their website would work. I was informed the following day after I moved to my new hotel that if I had not received help from the technical support team at my new hotel, I most likely would not have ever been able to get back onto the web with my computer. I will never stay at this hotel again and I will make sure that I let everyone I know that it was the worst hotel I stayed at during my entire extensive business travel.

“good hotel for the money”

Had a good time, staff was very nice during check in and check out. Only complaint for me was the bed was uncomfortable, and tv did not have very meny channels.

“Great Hotel-Cold Service”

Amenities are great, as promised. You only get your room cleaned if you book for a week or more, not daily. No gym or free breakfast. Facebook, Youtube, and other social networking sites are blocked by Websense, so you have to use a proxy site to gain access to those. One of the girls at the front said all the right things to convey good customer service, but her tone and face were cold as ice. She had no problem telling us all the things the hotel DOESN'T offer. Other than that, it's been great! Hotel is close to fabulous shopping, restaurants, and activities. VERY nice part of town.

HEAVY NOISY DUE TO OBSOLETE AIR CONDITIONING UNIT FIRST TWO WEEKS INTERNET HIGH SPEED WI-FI VERY GOOD; LAST WEEK NO CHANCE TO GET CONNECTION. ASKED TO PROVIDE TO FIX PROBLEM EVERY DAY BUT NOTHING HAPPEN. EVERY TIME i ASKED TO CALL EXPERT TO FIX PROBLEM ANSWER WAS: GIVE ME ROOM # AND WILL TALK WITH MANAGER: NEVER GET A CREDIBLE EXPLANATION. I WAS THERE FOR BUSINESS AND INTERNET IS EXTREMELY NECESSARY

“Not fancy but functional”

Not fancy but it was a great value for the area. Every thing you need is near by. The down sides are it is a little hard to see hidden between a couple of larger hotels and traffic can be heavy with it being right in a large business area and a large highway.

“Near my Office”

The room was less than clean, heat didn't work unless set at 85 degrees, TV remote only partially worked and the carpet is in need of a good cleaning. It would be nice if there were as many wash cloths as towels. This is the first time that the room has not been clean and the heat/ac didn't work properly.

“Location, location, location.”

They gave us a room that was not clean. After we complained, we were granted a free upgrade. The FD receptionist even called to check that everything was ok. You get what you pay for. Excelent location. The common areas smell like cigarette.

“Will stay there again!!”

Even though Homestead Houston sits on the feeder for Loop 610, it is extremely quiet. Nice and suits my needs as well as my pocket book.
