Dirty and worn.

My initial room was very dirty. Carpets clearly not cleaned. Counter tops dirty. Ketchup stains on the curtains. Called and quickly got assigned to another room. Marginally better. Chairs at kitchen table dirty as were the kitchen area. Food stains on the door handle. These were obvious to my 7 year old daughter. Dripping faucets in the bathroom. Worn furnishings in room. Worn and dirty carpets on the corridors. Came close to changing hotels but since we had very little time in room we cleaned it ourselves and made the most of it. I visit the Houston area often and that will be my last stay at this hotel.

Galleria area, Houston

Pros: Close to the Galleria, but not the expense. It was the best value for my money. I will stay here again.
Cons: I didn't see anything to improve on. Breakfast was included in the room cost and very good. I could not have paid for a better breakfast
Location: Close to everything in the Galleria area.
I rated this hotel as excellent for the price range. I liked everything about this hotel. From check in to check out, the staff could not have been any more helpful. They were professional and pleasant at all times. The lobby and the rooms were exceptionally clean. Parking, for a surcharge, was in an attached car park. The hotel was very quiet. There was no noise from other guests using their shower. It was a short walk to the Galleria Mall. Plenty of restaurants were near by, offering quiet a variety of food.

Perfekte Lage in Uptown/Galleria

Es begrüßt Sie rund um die Uhr ein freundliches und hilfsbereites Team. Sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet und ein gemütliches einfaches Dinnerbuffet, beides im Zimmerpreis inbegriffen. Die Suites sind sehr großzügig geschnitten mit viel Platz für eine Familie. Die Kitchenette enthält Spülmasche, Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle und Herd. Außerdem gibt es sowohl im Schlaf- als auch im Wohnzimmer einen großen Fernseher. Die Lage des Hotels ist zentral. Wir waren wiederholt dort und können es sehr empfehlen.

I love the Homewood suites! I didn't care for the bedroom and living area joined as one, but overall I loved it! I think I'll be back.

Close to the Galleria mall.

Second year in a row that they have closed the swimming pool during Spring Break while my family and I have visited. Also, the elevator from the parking garage did not work the whole time we were there. Forced to take the stairs down (with luggage) to the front of the hotel and then walk around to the doors leading into the lobby EVERY time we left and returned. Not convenient or safe!! We will picking another hotel next time.

Good Value for the money

Pros: Good Location. Nice Staff. Free breakfast
Cons: Fixing the elevator. Pillows are too soft.
The location of this hotel is excellent. Near by, is the Galleria Mall and lots of restaurants. Also, there is a Walgreen. The included morning breakfast is a plus. Hotel has a self-serve dinner M-TH for free. Rooms where comfortable. We are a family of five. We had 2-room suite with 2 king beds. Kitchen is OK. There is a large fridge, a microwave, a cooktop. Did not cook. We ate mainly at restaurants. The only complain is they had an elevator out-of-order. So, there was only one elevator working for guesses and the cleaning staff. The waiting for the elevator was sometimes frustrating. One guess at the hotel who was there for three weeks said the elevator was not working for three weeks, since she arrived. Definitely would come back, but would like to see the two elevators working.

Dejlig hotel tæt ved indkøb

Pros: At der var både stue og soveværelse samt køkken med opvaskemaskine
Location: Vi havde kun to overnatninger og tiden gik med shopping som var lige udenfor døren
Vi havde en dejlig suite med stue ( med sovesofa ) soveværelse, lækkert badeværelse og et fuldt udstyret køkken så jeg og tre halvvoksne sønner kunne snildt deles om det uden at det kostede en formue. Morgenmaden som var inklusiv var ikke luksus, men den bedste jeg har prøvet i forhold til andre hoteller.

Fun Valentine's treat

The room was very clean & comfortable. The suite setup and kitchenette made the room feel more like home and would be especially nice on a longer stay. The indoor pool was the main draw for our stay and was only disappointing due to it's popularity that evening.
