“Awesome stay”
Nice hotel, nice surroundings.
“What kind of place is this??”
Let's see - location is fine, but you can't get in or out across Westheimer. The night I was there they were having an enormous party - the only thing I can say about the guest list is that I was worried about vice raiding the hotel. And the music went on to 2 a.m. in the pool area right underneath my room - the second time I called to complain they admitted it was a hotel-catered party causing all the ruckus. They offered to let me pack up and move at 1:30, which was not an enticing offer - why not not book people into the rooms right over the party?? Never seen so many people doing the walk of shame the next morning at the valet. Yuck is really all I can say. And by the way, I used to stay here a few years ago and was quite happy with it.
“Nice hotel but no free parking”
Hotel location is good, staff is nice. Down side, valet parking only @ $20 day.
“Perfect for shopping”
My husband and I went away for the weekend just to get away and do some shopping. It is within walking distance to the galleria and more. Great restraunts around. Kenny and Ziggys is defintely a recommendation. We had breakfast there one morning and it was amazing. Le Peep was horrible and our server was cracked out - will never go back! The hotel was clean and I knew before hand about the valet but it was never a problem. Well, except for the first night - we went out to eat before we arrived and I brought left overs and accidently left them in the back seat. The front desk called and ask them to go get it for us. They never brought the food up to the room, but when we go in the nexy day - they had taken it out. (I was 5 months pregnant and had no intentions of eating it - just didn't want my car to smell. If I was going to eat it, I would have been mad.) The HUGE downfall is that it is so close to the highway. I am a pretty heavy sleeper but my husband couldn't sleep at all. The traffic noise is a bit of a nuisance. Also, a review did mention the bathroom doors - they are sliding and ours did not shut all the way. So if you do room with someone other than spouse, it would be kind of awkward. But I would go back - especially with the price we got the room for!
“Pretty good value”
Service was good Hotel is showing some wear, but not a bad place.
“great location and restaurant, bad rooms”
great location for business and shopping. first class restaurant with excellent service. rooms mediocre to poor for a boutique hotel. looks like there's no quality check between occupants: stains on furniture, carpet and closet had remains of previous guest, no shampoo, lotion or soap first and third day! windows and door are poorly sound proof, suggesting earplugs for a good night's sleep. pool outdoors between concrete walls, not heated.
“As good as it gets in Houston.”
Great facility and staff services. But the vehicle parking and restaurant are a tad pricy.
“Great place”
Great hotel! Stayed one night. Room was very clean and bed was so comfortable. Staff was friendly and very helpful!
“Good Galleria area hotel”
Great location, if your going to the Galleria area. Nice and Clean with good service.
“Nice hotel”
This was a nice hotel near the galleria. Clean rooms. Impressive lobby. Drawbacks: 1) The pool closes at 8:00 p.m. instead of 10:00 p.m. as most other hotels I have stayed in. 2) Forced vallet parking on weekends.
