Pros: Staff was very nice. Very convenient to get to the airport.
Arrived on a late flight and only had to wait a few minutes for the shuttle to pick us up. Very nice staff at the front desk and the restaurant. Even received a nice card from the staff.

Warm welcome to start our midnight, over night stay. Restaurant staff was very friendly too. Our waitress left a note at our room door to thank us and wish the best for our holiday. We thought that was a nice touch. Our room was recently renovated so very modern and comfortable. We'll stay there again.

Nice hotel close to the airport.

Cons: The air conditioner, it made too much noise.
I visit Houston for a computer science meeting, and the Houston Marriott hotel is the very convenient place for our meeting every member of the meeting voted this hotel as the place for our meeting.

FOOD was an issue.... The grill restaurant was closed at 4:00 pm and we were directed upstairs to a more expensive restaurant. Wasn't looking to spend $20/$30 a plate. No other local restaurants in the nearby area.

Airport hotel which felt like an airport hotel

Pros: Great bed and linens
Cons: Mini bar wouldbe useful.
Arriving late at night, the walk to the elevator, with luggage seemed to take forever; there was no one to take luggage up to the room if needed. The bathroom was dated, grout patches in places, the TV only seemed to have movie channels and a call to both the operator and the information desk elicited no answer. For over $300 it was a disappointing experience: Miami airport offers much better alternatives which I shall use next trip instead.

Close to airport - convenient with children

Airport is literally a short ride away via the Hotels underground tram (free for guests) which is super convenient when travelling with children. No playpen available for baby - major con, hotel layout is very confusing, also had to juggle all of our luggage on our own (no bellhop or cart available for our use) - another major con.

We are glad that you enjoyed the convenience of our property with the quick and simple tram ride from your terminal to our hotel. However, it is disappointing that we did not exceed your expectations of hotel. How hotel does offer Pack N Play cribs for the traveling family but they are based on availability. Also, we do have bellman services available to assist with luggage but I am not sure if he was possibly assisting another guest at your time- of check-in and for that I apologize that we did not communicate that clearly with you that we could have someone bring your luggage up to your room. I will be sure to address these issues with our Leadership and Front Office teams. Thank you again for your comments and I hope that you will stay with us again to allow us the chance to show you the service you deserve here at the Houston Airport Marriott.

Nice, but expensive

Overall, it is a nice and convienient hotel. It did get a little loud at times with the traffic outside.
