Near hospitals and schools

I chose this hotel because it was close to Baylor College of Medicine, that I'd walk there. Turns out the hotel has a shuttle and will drive you where you need to go within two miles. This worked out well for us and for many who were visiting the neighboring hospitals. I will be staying here again.

Cons: En todo fue excelente.
Location: Estan cerca los principales museos, el zoologico y los estadios de Basquet ball y NFL
El hotel esta muy bien ubicado, el personal muy amable, y el cuarto limpio y agradable. El hotel cuenta con una excelente ubicacion centrica, nuestra visita fuera para ver un juego de los Rokets y otro de los Texans, y los 2 estadios quedan a 10 min del hotel, esta a 3 min del zoologico y a 5 de los mejores museos de Houston.

Location: Close to Medical Center which is what we were looking for.
We drove from Austin, TX to the Mariott in Houston, TX on a Friday night and were tired and ready to check in at 9:00 pm. It took the night staff about 20 - 30 minutes to find our reservations. They had us under the wrong last name. We had to get up early the next morning for a seminar at M.D. Anderson Hospital, so we got to our room in time to go to bed. We told the staff that we were going to a seminar in the morning and would we have to check out before we went. They said No and that we could check out when we got back. The next morning our bill was under our door so we called down and asked if we had to check out before the seminar and they said, in a not friendly voice that yes, we would have to check out because check out was by noon under all circumstances. Then we went down to the lobby looking to eat breakfast at Starbucks only to find out it's closed on the weekends!! Who does that? Room was nice and clean but didn't spend much time there and wasn't worth the money for the inconveniences!

Perfect Overnight Stay to attend a Halloween Party

Was easy to access and within a block or so of where the party we were attending was held. The free shuttle was perfect and all of the hotel staff were courteous and professional.
