“will never use expedia again”

had to keep asking for towels, room a/c not working, moved to another room after complaining... breakfast was to be til 9a ..at 7a -- no breakfast all gone not even coffee and no one came to refill.... will never use or recommend expedia again ..EVEN IF ITS FREE .. guess you get what you pay for

“Dont get fooled by its pictures”

I got it under the 40% deal so I want revealed the name till the booking was completed. The pictures were good however the room was not clean. Also i got to know they have people staying there for months ..so you know what I mean. Only plus point is - its conveniently located. Hence it may be OK to stay here if you are single and staying for a night or two ..but definitely not with family and for extended time. Also their breakfast is horrible..the dining area is too small - in fact it seemed like kitchen to me. Hotel appliances are very old and downright cheap.

“Bed Bugs!! Dirty, with black & moldy shower curtain--not a 2 star!!”

We booked this hotel through Expedia's Secret Hotels option and was not expecting a whole lot for a 2 star category of choice. However, this hotel was much worse than a 2 star level--it probably is not even acceptable as a 1 star hotel!!! I have stayed in a range of hotels, from 3 to 5 star resorts all over the world--and this was by the far the absolute worse hotel experience I have ever had!! Never again will I book a anything less than a 3 star hotel--and this one in particular does not fit in its 2 star category--NOT EVEN CLOSE!! We checked in late at night, after a full day of shopping at the outlets north of Houston--we did not get a chance to use the shower, as we went out with friends shortly after checking in the first night. The next morning, we noticed that the floor and the kitchenette area was all dusty. The shower curtain was black all along the bottom with smelly mildew. The bedspread had holes from cigarette burns in it. It was just dirty, dirty, dirty!! The worse part of this entire experience was when we saw 2 bed bugs on the pillow while the maid was changing the pillow cases. This was enough for us at this point. We checked out immediately, not caring that we were booked for two more nights there. Enough was enough of this filthy and completely unacceptable 2 star hotel. We will NEVER be back and will NEVER book another 2 star secret hotel with Expedia. This hotel should not be allowed to be listed as a Secret Hotel choice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good thing only needed the room for one night. Most unconfortable beds we ever stayed.

We spent two nights here. The location was great, being central to the Houston Space Center and the Kemah Boardwalk. The front desk staff was very friendly and prepared when we arrived, even though I'd reserved a second room for the kids at the last minute. We'd reserved one of the rooms for 4 people, but only had towels for two when we checked in. Having the kitchenette was nice, but if you plan to use it, bring utensils, plates, cups, etc. because they are NOT provided. The ice makers were either broken or empty the entire weekend and there were no ice trays in the fridge. Rooms were nice and comfortable, but smelled musty. The toilet ran constantly. All in all, it was a decent facility, but could use some work to bring it up to par with other properties we've stayed at for the same price.

Decent hotel for the budget travellers. The conditions are not that great, but are sufficiently good enough for 1-2 day stay.
