Doesn't honor reservations

The hotel overbooked and upon arrival after a long travel day, told us that they don't aleays honor third-party reservations and we'd have to go to another hotel.

This hotel was not represented correctly on Expedia website. We arrived close to 10pm. No one at the front desk to checkin. After 20 min or so, the driver from the shuttle finally came out to help us, (and one other guest) No restaurants, twice as far away from the airport then stated. We were on an overnight lay-over to Cancun so needed convenience of food and closeness to airport. Neither were achieved. Disappointment and irritation instead.

Basic, not Wow'ed

Available shuttle from/to airport is a plus, however make sure you eat before arriving at the hotel. Their food is frozen and in the area there's only a seafood restaurant (questionable quality). The staff needs to be trained on their gallery host duties. They seemed overwhelmed and not fully understanding how to make things. We asked for a hot chocolate but the lady didn't know how to do it, she said. In the morning, I cannot be 100% on this, but I believe that the overnight host drove us to the airport and no one else was left at the hotel. At least she was running around with no help and the front desk area was unattended when we left... This is scary.

I had to pay over $5.00 for a bottle of Desani water, There was only a shower and it overflowed on to the floor......this has to be an ongoing issue because the tile on the bathroom floor was loose. The location was terrible. When I mentioned this to the front deskk clerk she said I should have called maintenance. The last time I checked, the front clerk worked there, not me. The housekeepers knocked on my door at 8:15am, woke me up asking what time was I checking out. Check out time is noon! Bad experience!!!!

about 20 min.from airport in good traffic ,i have used it a couple of times and no problems breakfast is good ,and the is a resterant next door for nights
