Only thing we would change is the ac in the room it was a bit warm for us at its lowest but that’s prob something that it set and stoned

Even though is an old building, rooms are clean and renovated. Love the lighting in the room and city views from the window. Bed was very comfortable. Just a small detail, there was only one coffee kit available. We needed at least 2 to have coffee in the morning.

Love tall downtown buildings with great views. Also love accommodating and attentive hotel staff. We even got a surprise piece of cake for my husbands birthday. And the valets were professional and quick. Very grateful and will definitely stay again.

I was very hopeful for a positive experience since my wife and I were celebrating our anniversary. However, for the price point I have had much better experiences in the area. First off, there was a convention of some sort at the time of our visit. As soon as we pulled up there was about 150 people outside standing in the middle of the driveway smoking, blocking the road essentially. They did move, but still not what I wanted to be greeted with. Then this same group kept the lobby full and extremely noisy well past 2-3 am. Which is when we finally were able to fall asleep. In addition to that, the AC unit in our room was not functioning and they had to send maintenance up around 1 am to fix. Not exactly a convenient time or occurrence for a couple there to celebrate our anniversary. Room quality was ok but if I had to do it again, I would have chosen elsewhere.

The staff and responsiveness of the Hyatt Regency was awesome. Our flight was delayed and we arrived in pretty late - but I was able to easily message the team and they responded very quickly. The parking was easy to get in and out - driving in Houston is pretty important, so that was helpful. I gave four stars on cleanliness because I found an empty mini-liquor bottle on the floor of our room near the bed - but other than that the room was very clean.
