“Re”

I think that the staff was very friendly and eager to please. The food was very good and was available at most any hour. It was an easy hotel to get to and easy access to Astros field and the convention center.

“Perfect hotel for a baseball weekend!”

This baseball-themed hotel was perfect for a weekend at Minute Maid Park. It took us literally two minutes to get to our seats. The only problem was the water pressure of the showers, but I don't know if that is a problem for anyone else but us. Certainly not the cheapest hotel option, but if you are looking for convenience, it's an excellent choice.

“Great location, good value”

This hotel is in a great location - walking distance to the theater district, as well as Minute Maid stadium, and several good restaurants. The only downside to the location is that we wanted to find someplace to have a drink after the theater, and everything in the area closed early. The room was clean, and the common areas of the hotel were well decorated and inviting.

“Great Stay!”

My husband and I were so pleased with our recent stay! The baseball theme is very well done down to the smallest of details. The staff was great. We ate in the small restaurant downstairs and the food and service were both great. I have stayed in a lot of hotels and this was one of the cleanest and well kept I have seen. The only thing I was disappointed in was that the gift shop was not open when we checked out Saturday morning. We look forward to staying again in the future.

“wonderful baseball themed hotel”

this hotel was amazing. The staff uses your last name, opens front door for you, asks how your day was and even gives you a map and circles where you are and places you may be interested in seeing. The theme is an amazing baseball lifestyle. They have a nice sit down bar and casual restaurant.

“Great baseball retreat!”

A great place to stay in downtown Houston. Caddy corner to Minute Maid Park; with great lounge for a pre-game drink or two. Nice restaurants within walking distance and a complementary shuttle as well! Our place of choice for our baseball getaways!

“Nice American Hotel”

This hotel is a very classy, baseball oriented place. The decor includes a lot of wood and a more masculine feel. Overall the hotel itself was great. It was not crowded, the staff were very attentive. Our room was clean, but I deducted a star because it seemed that our duvet had been washed but was still sopping wet in one big area of the bed. It had seeped through and gotten all the other bed linens wet. We called down to the front desk and they had a new one brought up shortly. I also gave the surrounding neighborhood a star off because just in general downtown Houston is really quite boring unless there is a major event going on. There aren't a whole lot of nice bars in area and I prefer Midtown over Downtown for night life.
