Hotel bien ubicado

Pros: La comida y la atención.
Cons: Está en remodelación que le hace mucha falta
Location: Tienes cerca el Centro comercial Galería y estas relativamente cerca de la zona de museos, zoologico y restaurantes.
Todo muy bien solo que nadie nos dijo que estaba en remodelación por lo que había demoliciones a partir de las 9:00 am, así que si te querías despertar tarde era imposible.

Nice location

great location if you are looking to be in Gallaria area. We were actually meaning to book at main street JW and did not realize there were 2 JW's in Houston. The hotel staff was not helpful with this at all. Our hot water did not work in our room so we had to move to another room after they tried to fix it 2 times.

Pros: The location, the staff and the comfort.
The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly whenever we needed them from check in, to valet, to checkout. The room and hotel were clean especially for a slightly older hotel. We would definitely stay there again. The location is great for shopping at the Galleria.

It will be lovely when the remodel is complete.

The only downside was the remodel that was going on. We were in one of the newly renovated rooms, and I am sure the hotel will be lovely when it is done. While we were onsite, the remodel interfered with the elevators, the lobby to a small degree, and the construction noises that started at 9am.

Overall nice looking hotel...

The hotel looked nice and some of the amenities such as the pool and gym were great, but our room was dirty, the wifi was greatly overpriced, and some of the staff weren't very helpful or welcoming. Mostly I wasn't happy with the price of things within the hotel considering the cost of the stay itself. My wife was more displeased with the state of the room and the fact that when she tried to call for room service the line was down so she had to call out to reach the hotel staff which they then charged us for. Overall not a terrible hotel but I wouldn't stay there again or recommend it to friends.

Pros: Location and Quality
Cons: The beds were very comfortable, but pillow top mattresses are the best.
Location: Shopping, Dining, ease of access to reach a freeway
Fabulous staff - had breakfast both days and was extremely pleased with the service.

Hotel confortevole in Houston Uptown

L'hotel si trova in una posizione buona, di fronte a "The Galleria" e nel cuore di Houston Uptown. Il personale è molto gentile e disponibile; le camere pulite e ben fornite. Ogni giorno viene lasciata una bottiglietta di acqua per ogni ospite; a disposizione ci sono ferro da stiro, asse da stiro, asciugacapelli e i consueti saponi da hotel. Al quinto piano si trovano la piscina, il solarium e la palestra: veramente un luogo ideale dove rilassarsi. Lo consiglio sicuramente. Unico neo (normale negli Stati Uniti): nella hall l'aria condizionata è veramente terribile, considerando le temperature miti di Houston in Ottobre, dovevo letteralmente vestirmi pesante per riuscire a resistere al freddo. Consiglio vivamente il ristorante interno (Destino): lo chef prepara piatti perfetti, con materie prime di ottima qualità.

Great room, great staff, great food. Only challenge - getting a taxi on Saturday evening... It took the valets 45 min to flag one down!
