Pros: Nothing
Cons: The odor in the hotel - there was an AWFUL smell throughout the hallways - room smelled like lysol but had to hold one's breath when in the halls.

Dogs in room across hall barked incessantly

Dogs in room across the hall barked incessantly during entire stay. Staff intervened once for a brief reprieve but barking continued. Dogs most probably left in room alone.

Pleasant stay.

We stayed for 4 nights. The room was clean and comfortable. The service was also pleasant. Recommendation for a restaurant with a 10% discount from the hotel for the local restaurant was appreciated. Will stay again if we are back in the area.

Good stay at the La Quinta

Just an overnight stay for a relaxed getaway. The area had some shopping stores and eateries nearby, so that was a big plus.

manager needs training in manners

Great staff except one employee was be scowled by the manager in front of customers over paper in a printer. That's a big no no in my book. Otherwise everyone was great and very helpful. Would stay again when in the area again.

Halloween weekend

Pros: Service was good.
Cons: HVAC maintenance.
Overall the hotel was OK; we've stayed there before. It's your standard LaQuinta. We had an issue with the HVAC unit in our room. When we arrived it was cool in there. Tried to warm the room, but the unit didn't heat, just blew air and actually kinda cooled off the room even more. Did not report it immediately because we were getting ready to go out and did not want to be bothered with maintenance personnel while getting ready. We were going to tell the mgr. when leaving so they could address the issue while we were out. I played with the thermostat myself and got the unit to heat. Set the temp and we went out. Room temp was OK when we came back, but later in the night as the room cooled and the thermostat kicked in, it just blew cold air again. It also made a disturbing noise that interrupted our sleep, along with the uncomfortable temp in the room. Reported the issue at checkout.

Disappointed with Hotel, but Excellent Staff

Pros: The staff is what sets this rather disappointing experience apart. We found the staff to be very accommodating, very nice, and anxious to please.
Cons: Renovate the entire hotel. It is due. Room #217 should be boarded up and not ever used.
We reserved two (2) rooms and specified adjoining rooms. We did not receive adjoining rooms, and the rooms were quite distant from each other. Both rooms had stale, musty odors, and one room had severe stains on the carpet, was missing the clock radio, and was in general in poor repair. The other room was cleaner, but was missing bathroom amenities. We did complain to the staff who admitted knowing that one room was in poor repair, and promptly moved us to the room adjacent to the second room (can't figure out why they didn't do this before).
