Snazzy smell and water upon entrancePosted Oct 20, 2014
They would shuttle us back and forth from Toyota Center for a small tip. Breakfast was decent and included in price. No rollaway bed for our extra guest.

love the magnoliaPosted Oct 14, 2014
Pros: ambiance, staff are very nice, clean
Cons: breakfast...cut fruit would be nice. would be great if they didn't take forever to replenish. i think the kitchen manager should be aware of traffic
Location: downtown houston is revitalized, close to museums and parks as well as night life
love this hotel! breakfast was a little cold and had to wait for them to replenish but it wouldn't stop us from returning.

Nice Hotel, close to everythingPosted Oct 14, 2014
Easy check in, all accommodations met. Hotel staff was very friendly. They have a nice happy hour with free wine and beer. Also, they have fresh cookies and milk at night. Not bad. I asked for a room with on a high floor with an awesome view and they totally met my expectations. The spacious room on the 19th floor had a view of Downtown. Anytime I head back to Houston, this will be the spot.

Great location!Posted Oct 2, 2014
Pros: The location is better than the Icon, and the rooms were nice.
Cons: Breakfast was just okay decent, but could be improved upon.
Location: Location is great if you have multiple meetings all over the area.
Really liked this hotel a lot. It was a better location than other boutique type hotels I have stayed at, the rooms were nice, and they had a decent breakfast (free during my stay, not sure if that is standard). I would stay there again for sure.

MagnoliaPosted Oct 1, 2014
The pool is only 3 ft, and it's small. When I got Into My Restroom And Flushed Water Flooded The Restroom And Then A Little Onto The carpet. Next I go to check my chase account and they held 108 dollars instead of 50 dollars. And finally, I called room service and ordered a drunk that said 12 dollar but when I got the tab it was 20 dollars. So no i did not enjoy much of my stay

Great downtown stayPosted Sep 8, 2014
The hotel is conveniently located downtown within walking distance to lots of bars and restaurants. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The hotel is clean, tastefully decorated, and has plenty of things to do on site. There is a daily happy hour where guests receive 2 complementary drinks before happy hour prices kick in. They also have nighttime milk and cookies. The bar is lively and well stocked and there is a pool table tucked away in an adjoining room. The food served is very good and moderately priced. The free breakfast is good, not great, only because there is a limited selection and it doesn't change daily. The room that we stayed in this time was very dark and tucked away. We were a little upset about this at first but it turned out to be just what we needed. It was super quiet and easy to sleep with the lack of outside lighting. Checkout was a breeze but we were disappointed with the valet service at checkout. They advertised that there is no calling ahead on Sundays, but when we went down there were 6 cars waiting there that all called ahead and we had to wait 15 minutes for our car. Aside from that instance, the valet guys were very nice and even fetched something out of the car for me that I had forgotten. There was also a little cafe just outside of the hotel entrance that has great sandwiches, cheesecake and coffee, in addition to random things that hotel goers typically forget and was open until 1am. Great place to stay!
