Great location, staff, facilities and location.

Cons: The business center was being painted while I was there so I couldn't use it. That was disappointing since I was there on business.
The hotel was absolutely perfect for everything I needed. I was able to have meetings in the Starbucks downstairs and the lobby. The food at the bar was excellent. And everything else I wanted was within walking distance.

Staff rude, King Size room, turned into a handicapped room. Excessive noise from adjoining rooms. Hotel staff had to be called to quiet a neighboring yelling drunk. Perhaps too much convention business has lulled the staff.

One of the BEST hotels I've ever stayed at!!! Great customer service!!! Especially the Filipino bellboy Arthur. This will be the ONLY place I will be staying at whenever I visit Texas!

Spontaneous Need For Sunlight

This was an unplanned trip. It was raining at home and all plans were cancelled due to the weather. My husband walked in the bedroom and said pack the bags we are headed South until we see sunshine. An hour later we were packed and in the car headed South to our unknown destination. We decided to go to Brazos Bend State Park. We walked the trails and saw the beautiful Spring blooms and a few alligators through the park. At dinner my husband said we need to find a hotel. Using the hotels.com app I found the Marriott only 4 miles from the restaurant. With the hotel reserved and family fed we headed to the hotel. Our son was elated that the pool was heated. No sooner did we drop the bags in the hotel he bolted to the pool. The staff was very helpful and courteous. The rooms were quiet and clean.

Ended up in a handicapped room which was great except for the shower. Water from the shower went all over the bathroom floor.

Feel this Hotel is a little too high per night. Standard rate was $289 per night. Found it for $142 per night on hotel.com. Love that it is close to everything, but would only stay here if it was less than 160 per night.

Nice area...NO Parking

Cons: Customer Service. Parking. Parking. Parking.
Location: We dined at Esparzas, Japaneiro and Jamba Juice. All are great.
I had reservations for two nights for a KING bed. Even called on our way down from Dallas to confirm. Check-in went well and when we got to our room I noticed we had two DOUBLE beds. I called the front desk to ask if they had any king available. She immediately said no, maybe she knew off hand - but it sounded like she didn't care. The next morning I went down to the front office to ask if there would be any King beds available that night and again she said no without verifying with anyone or on the computer in front of her. Needless to say, my husband and I had two DOUBLE beds for our Valentine weekend. On to Parking. Because of the parking situation alone I would not recommend to stay here- unless you Valet. Although they do offer free parking at three different parking garages you will have to bring ALL of your luggage and belongings through the Town Center and all of their patrons, stares and all. Mind you this is on brick road, alleyways and in front of many people-some who are inebriated depending on the time of day. I only say take Valet because they charge you for it at check out, unless you catch it like I did and they act like they are doing you a favor by removing the charge. I will not be back and will not recommend this hotel to anyone.
