Hotel was very nice & clean, the only thing was the pool was dirty & they need to buy some new table umbrellas. But will stay there again.

Staff very nice and friendly . Hotel condition very bad . 3 nights and we could not use the pool . Rooms very old , breakfast very poor. For $10-20 I could get much much better hotel.

Good for a short stayPosted Jun 2, 2015
Pros: The staff was helpful and friendly.
Cons: The continental breakfast could use some fruit. The smells need to be addressed. The pool umbrellas need repair.
Location: Across the street from the Johnson Space Center. Not terribly far from restaurants -- a 30 min ride from downtown Houston. Next to a CVS.
We chose this hotel because of its proximity to the Johnson Space Center (it's right across the street). The hotel wasn't too bad, but if you plan to spend a lot of time indoors, it's not the place for you. If you need a place to sleep, great! The stairways and hallways have a musty smell that's not very pleasing. We spotted a couple of air fresheners throughout the hotel, but they seem to do more harm than good. The room itself was okay; nothing special though. Any time we had questions, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The umbrellas outside by the pool were broken during our entire five-day stay. The staff tried to fix them with duct tape, but it didn't do much good. I hope they invest in some new umbrellas for future guests -- especially since the pool is in direct sun for much of the day.

Cons: Can hear people/tv in other rooms
Location: NASA walking distance, Kemah
Friendly front desk staff, free breakfast, room served its purpose, right across from NASA. Have stayed here twice and would stay again.

Great for a one night stayPosted May 19, 2015
Pros: Staff were really nice. The bed was comfortable.
Cons: The air conditioner in the room didn't work properly.
I was visiting friends for the day and this place was near where I use to live in Houston and where my friends were. It wasn't the greatest place I've stayed but for the price, it was good. I felt comfortable there and the staff was pleasant.

Close to Kemah BeachPosted May 5, 2015
Pros: Staff and free hot breakfast.
Cons: Rooms were a little stuffy. Needed aired out.
Location: NASA across the street and Kemah Boardwalk is 10 minutes away.
It is an average Hotel but is not a dump. Moderate price with free breakfast. Staff was friendly. It is good for what we wanted it for. Close to Kemah Boardwalk without the high price tag.

Not like the picturesPosted Apr 11, 2015
PROS: Bathroom was clean. They served biscuits and gravy at breakfast. CONS: The room is very small, barely enough room for the bed and walking space around it. The pictures make it look like there is a whole other side of the room that, in reality, isn't there. The carpet was sticky. You can hear anything anyone says through the walls so there is zero privacy. There are doors connecting the adjacent rooms and mine was unlocked, good thing I checked. I asked for an iron and ironing board and the iron spit dirt all over my shirt when I hit the steam button and the board they brought was about as long as my arm. Unless you open the window blinds the room is very dark. I would not stay here again.
