Smells and humid

Pros: Nothing special to like about it.
Cons: Deodorize the hotel overall.
The hotel itself was clean enough, but the hallways had a bad odor and the room was very humid. The A/C could not get the humidity out. WORST OF ALL was what they did after our stay. I noticed my credit card was charged an additional $10. I called and was told two towels were missing and I was charged for them. I told them there was some mistake because we did not take any towels. The guy told me a manager would call me the next day, but that did not happen. So I called back again the day after that. I explained the situation again and told this guy that the manager had not called me. He got off the phone for a while and then returned to tell me they would refund the money to my card, "but the towels were missing." I said, no, you will refund my money because there was some mistake and I should not have been charged for any towels. He repeated that they would refund my money but insisted on telling me the towels were missing insinuating we had taken them. I said they had made the mistake, maybe someone counted towels wrong, or reported the missing towels from the wrong room. He very rudely insisted they were missing from our room, obviously insinuating we had taken them! What a JERK! The last thing I would have wanted was towels from their stinky hotel! After this experience, I will never stay at any Microtel again.

Clean and comfortable

This property was very clean, rooms were nice, they have a full bfast with malted waffles. The staff was courteous and accommodating, they let me check in an hour early. I will definitely stay here again. Great rate also.

The pool was NASTY! They are named Microtel for a reason. Rooms are small.

Pros: Easy access to highway. great location.
Cons: A few more amenities in the room. Larger coffee pot, utensils.
Great staff. Danny- Manager, Owner very easy to work.

Good Deal for the money

Pros: The location was close to several restaurants and across the street from NASA which made it easy to walk over and visit as I had no car.
Cons: Carpet needs cleaning...feet got dirty walking barefoot. Pool needed to be better taken care of...water was not clear and lots of debris.
Location: NASA across the street. Kemah Boardwalk within about 5 miles. Baybrook Mall about 5 miles.
I stayed there for a week and had my daughter and granddaughter stay with me while I was in town. I would have preferred more space as the rooms were small but for the price it was a great deal and worked well for my visit.

Close to attractions

Pros: Close to nearby attractions
Cons: Hotel is very outdated
Location: Kemah, Galveston
This hotel was very close to nearby attractions. The hotel is very old and need a lot of updates. For the overall price it was OK. I would not have stayed there for more than 2 nights

Pros: Centrally located for my needs Staff was very nice and professional
Cons: Refrigerator needs to be off the floor. It needs to be in a cabinet.
Location: Cruises Beach NASA
No microwave in room Small refrigerator placed on the floor instead of a counter or shelf Ice machine did not work on third floor.

Hotel was in a good location. Close to shopping, and attractions. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was ok, a little small and could use some updates. But overall a good place to sleep in the area.
