Great location, not very nice hotel

The only word I can think of to describe this hotel is "OK." It's CLEARLY a budget hotel--low-quality furnishings, not very helpful front desk staff, etc. I guess I can't complain too much for $70/night...but I've stayed in La Quinta's for about the same price that are MUCH MUCH nicer. A "below average" overall score for this hotel.

Smoky

Service was good, but room and building need work. Room was supposed to be non-smoking, but someone clearly had smoked in it recently. Entire floor smelled like smoke. Door to bathroom in my room was rough and unpainted. No shampoo offered in the room. Not a pleasant stay at this hotel.

We appreciate you letting us know. There have been a few positive changes recently. One measure we have implemented is our GuestRedi program, in which each room is inspected twice by our staff before it passes for inventory.
