“Great place”

I stayed at this hotel for the first time back in Aug 2008, as it was very near to a facility I had to visit for a week-long course. I was very impressed and hence returned in Feb 2011 to renew the same course credentials, despite the course facility having a special rate at another nearby hotel. The room / suite is great value for money; very spacious, kept very clean, comfortable TV room, good sized desk for setting up laptop, and great bed. Basic kitchenette included is very handy. Complimentary breakfast is more than ample, with a generous enough variety. Free wireless works fantastic. The hotel has various extras available, such as a grocery service (I believe is complimentary as well), and social events on some evenings (itinerary is posted on fridge in room) with light dinner (free). I did not make use of either, but I would believe that they are very handy to have. Greenspoint may not have the best reputation, but the hotel doors are locked fro evening until morning - only your room keycard can get you in. Location is very close to IAH, takes about 6 minutes from the rental car centre. Lots of eating places in the near vicinity. Close access to the major roadways. Overall, I felt very safe and comfortable at this hotel, and I fully intend to stay there again if I have business in that area of Houston in the future.

I have no complaints about this hotel - the staff was friendly, the room was clean and spacious, and the two free meals a day were great. It really felt like home by the end of my stay.
