The price was right.Posted Feb 18, 2014
Pros: Great breakfast. Very helpful staff!
Good breakfast. The only negative was the excessive use of "air freshener" products. If something is making the hotel smell unpleasant, fix the source of the smell. Walking into the lobby from outside was air freshener air pollution. The hotel seemed very clean, so that made the air freshener excess seem even more ridiculous. They may want to consider changing out the mattresses, as the comfort of the bed was starting to show some age. Overall good stay especially for the the rate!

Holidays with familyPosted Dec 27, 2013
Pros: Location, price, and quality of service by the staff
Location: Well located in Houston. Would never again do the Christmas Lights at the Houston Zoo-way too expensive and parking was a nightmare. Lights were poor
Rented two rooms so that family could be close while I had to work on Christmas. Hotel staff was great and the accommodations quite good. Great breakfast - even on Christmas morning.

Comfy hotel close to airportPosted Dec 25, 2013
Pros: It was quiet! Usually, hotels are quite loud and busy during the holidays but the hotel staff kept everything in line.
Location: We didn't do much in the area but it was definitely super convenient in getting to and from the airport. The shuttle service is great as well!
So flew in from Washington state around 2am and when I attempted to check into the hotel, I was told my reservation had been cancelled. When I explained that I had purchased the room through expedia and it was non-refundable and hadn't cancelled anything, management realized a mistake had been made. They were super accommodating and managed to arrange for my three night stay. The room is perfectly sized. Love the separate bedroom and the sofa bed is quite comfy! Didn't make too much use of the kitchen but it was nice to be able to make a couple quick meals. Breakfast was SPECTACULAR! Definitely left satisfied.

To reach eateries and airport you have to do alot of u turns, however this is typical of Houston. This hotel is about 15 min of IAH so it met our needs. Front desk staff were very pleasant and helpful.

beware toll roadsPosted Oct 4, 2013 on Hotels.com
We choose this hotel knowing it was further from most of our desired destinations due to our desire to have two bedrooms and a kitchen available. The price was very affordable, and we were very pleased with the quality of the hotel and the staff. The breakfast was good, the pool was nice, and the outside seating area was a lovely space to spend a few quiet moments. However, the hotel is located directly off of a toll road, and another is very close by. If you do not know exactly where you are going and which exits you need, you can find yourself paying tolls to get off and on the roads while trying to access the correct exit. The main toll road circles Houston and would seem to give a benefit over driving the main extremely busy highways through the city. We used this road one day to get from the south end of the city to the north in order to avoid several traffic incidents on I-45. It costs us $11 in tolls. There is a frontage road that runs alongside of the toll road that is free. So you would be better off traveling it at a little slower speed than dealing with the toll booths that appear about every 2-4 miles.
