It seems like there were quite a few technical things going on as far as the facility is concerned this should not reflect the staff they were excellent despite of
What I didn’t like is that a lot of things in our room did not work. Contacted the front office on several occasions and no one ever showed up. The good things the rooms are very spacious.

No hot water
The hot water did not work in my hotel room. Unfortunately, I found this out an hour before a dinner meeting with a client and was unable to be as presentable as normal.
I called the office to inform them and they said they would have maintenance look at it. When I returned from dinner nothing had been done.
I was then offered to move to a new room but it would have been more effort than it was worth at that time at night.
Old building, old window unit ACs, queen size beds in all the rooms, no option for king size bed, old small elevator and unkept! The rooms are detached from the lobby/front desk, in all, the hotel was unconvincing!!
I was disappointed with this location. I’ve stayed at many Residence Inn’s and this one wasn’t too cool. Microwave was too tiny. Critters crawled all over the counters, in the closet. What happened to the hot water - shower took way too long to heat up, if it ever did. Water trickled out of that shower head, very disappointing. That mobile remote for the TV was a joke; couldn’t get the TV to turn off until a timer shut it off. “Sleeps 4” - uhh, where were the extra bed linens? My son and I had to share one blanket and a top sheet (sigh).
Only nice thing was the front desk lady; she was pleasant and very helpful. Don’t think I’ll stay here the next time I’m in Texas.
I like the way that the property was a fenced. So you’re parking your vehicle behind a gated entry. The property is older, but you can see where there is a lot of updating. Our room did still smell pretty stuffy, older but was clean to the touch and appearance and nicely stocked. We had a full mini kitchen. It would be a great place if renting for a week. No roaches that others mentioned in the reviews. So maybe it was the building they were in? The outside door latch was broken. The beds are what are normal for Marriott. Decent, clean and a bit firm. I liked how close we were to the location we needed to be at early the next morning.
Be very careful because this property has a severe roach issue. Although the staff are very nice and the suites are okay the roaches are horrendous. They don’t even run when the lights turn on. The second you put something on the counter, they come out from everywhere.
