Good place to stay!Posted Apr 11, 2014
Pros: Nice clean and quite.
Cons: This was a special room and I have not stayed in any of the other rooms so I don't know of any improvements that are needed.
Location: Arrived late so I did not check anything out other than the Medical Center.
I found this great deal that was 2 and a half blocks from the medical center I needed to go to at 9 A.M. the following day. The hotel grounds were very nice and clean the breakfast was good plus it was quite all night. We had a big room which if I have surgery I will stay in it again because it had a refrigerator/microwave a small sitting room and and with a couch seperated by a wall so you can have guest w/o them seeing the whole room. The young man at the desk was very pleasant and helpful with directions. With it being so close to the Medical center, I will most definately stay there again.

Excellent location for the pricePosted Apr 11, 2014
Pros: The location, price, and interior atmosphere were excellent. Most of the furnishings were very nice -- big TV, comfy bed, large refrigerator.
Cons: Some parts of the room were not cleaned. The loveseat was too disgusting to touch.
Location: Rice University, the Rice Village, and the Museum District are all nearby. The hotel was in a charming residential area.
My husband and I were visiting the area for two days and we simply needed a place to sleep that wouldn't break the bank. We were simply delighted with the location and the price, especially for a suite! Check-in was easy. The motel won't win awards for outward appearance -- it's tucked tightly behind a massive storage facility and looks a bit old and run-down. A big plus is that the neighborhood seemed very safe; the parking lot is well-lit. Our suite was a comfortable size and looked recently renovated. The room had a musty smell when we entered, but we ran the air conditioner while we went out for dinner and it was fine when we returned. I brought a small tub of cleaning wipes and wiped down as much as I could; the bathroom tiles and kitchen countertops were coated in old grime. The bathroom facilities were clean and the bed was perfect. However, there was the ugliest, dirtiest loveseat I had ever seen in the sitting room. It made the otherwise rather stylish apartment seem disgusting when I saw it. When a beige couch has distinctive brown leg-stains on the seats, it's time to throw it away! If you're on a budget, this hotel is a great option. It needs to be cleaner, but it isn't moldy or infested or dangerous.

Not very friendly front deskPosted Feb 15, 2014
The worse excuse for a continental breakfast I have ever had. It consisted of bread and a honey bun that have been in the bags for awhile. The front desk workers were not very friendly. The lady who cleans the rooms and drives the shuttle is amazing. She was the one who made the experience worth it.

Disgustingly Dirty!Posted Dec 12, 2013 on Hotels.com
Cashed in rewards points to stay here for a discounted price. Was looking for some comfort while accompanying my husband to the cancer hospital. This place is disgusting. It's filthy, the beds are hard, and the shower had no water pressure. Couldn't wait to get out of there. I reiterate it is dirty!! Not worth the money, regardless of how cheap you get it.

The worst hotel experience I have ever had.Posted Nov 26, 2013
The hotel is being remodeled and the workers are staying there. There were close from a previous stay in one of the drawers when we got there. Where the stove for the kitchenette should have been, there was a hole in the counter and the stove top was sitting in it on the floor. The door was half painted on the inside, and the room had an odor. when I complained about the room, the person at the front desk said they may be able to get us a different room the next night. After calling, he finally came and removed the clothes. I cancelled the 2nd night. The first night was our 10 year wedding anniversary! Expedia did help us get out of the 2nd night, but should do a better job of checking out these hotels before putting them on the sight. I should be refunded for having to endure one night in that place!
