When we checked in, the room was ready. However, it was 62 degrees in the room! Had someone checked the room to be sure it was ready, I think that they would have adjusted the temperature. The room was clean, but it was showing its age. The hotel needs updating. I was disappointed and expected a nicer room.

Our AC did not work so we had to sleep with our balcony door open. (We didn't feel like having to get dressed in the middle of the night for someone to come look at it & interrupt our sleep). When we told the hotel staff about it the next morning she just said "ok we'll check it out". Some sort of discount would've been nice...guess we didn't complain enough.

We are in the process of chaning out all our A/C units starting in the next few months. I am so sorry for the inconvenience and lack of a good night sleep. Business friendly, but faulty door lock

Cons: maintenance of door locks
The door key malfunctioned, due to faulty doorlock. So we could not enter the room at night. Called front desk; they sent Maintenance who drilled hole to open door (about 30-45 mins while we waited late at night). Asked for adjustment (lower) to room charge, but staff said no. They gave us breakfast coupon. I would appreciate if the hotel can refund part (e.g. $60) of our bill due to our annoying experience with the door lock, wasting our time at night.

Good place to relax with a view

The price is decent and the view of the marina is very nice and the hotel is ok. I have been there several times with work and thought it nice and safe enough to bring my wife for a stay.

Time for Some Updates

Pros: Location
Cons: Hotel HVAC system and decor need to be updated to eliminate the musty smell in lobby and floor 5.
Hotel lobby smells musty as soon as you walk in. Room received was on 5th floor. Got off elevator and the musty moldy smell was worse than the lobby. Room was just as bad. Slept with balcony door open. Requested a different room in the morning and was put on 11th floor. The room on floor 11 room was fine and did not smell moldy or musty. Furniture has been updated at least in this room. My room on Floor 5 must have been the original furniture and carpeting from when it was built and needs serious updating.

Very nice place to stay.

Pros: It was extremely clean, staff were very friendly and helpful. It had a beautiful outdoor pool; however, the weather was too cool to use it.
Cons: Perhaps, providing a voucher toward breakfast in their restaurant. It was too costly for us.
Location: NASA Space Center is about 5 miles away and definitely worth the visit. Galveston on the Gulf. Boardwalk. Rudy's BBQ in Webster.
Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. The only reasons I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 are minor--like having double beds instead of queen, no free breakfast. It certainly was very adequate to meet out needs.

This property is NOT a "resort!"

Pros: Not much.
Cons: Read the above "Experience." If you can't fugure out--- then nobody can "enlighten" you.....
Location: ......if you don't own a boat or play golf; go sit at the bar.
Hotel is old and not in modern upkeep; it looks worn out. NO WAY to stretch the definition of a "resort" for this place. The elevators are slow and too small, hold only two adults and two bags. Front desk staff not very attentive or helpful. When our reservation specified for a "Bay-view" balcony, front desk seemed "put-out" when I requested it was changed. Front desk couldn't assist with directions, laundry or dry-cleaning service information. The bed was horrible. I have slept on more comfortable rice mats on sand. Room service couldn't make a bed sheet corner, so bottom sheets rolled-up every night. One thin blanket for the bed, no spare. Room service doesn't read: "DO NOT DISTURB" sign, or just ignored it. Request from room service for a second blanket---never appeared. Pathetic coffee maker makes two small cups of coffee,no refills. After second day, no coffee at all! Lounge bar had (1) bartender/server for the entire lounge; totally inadequate. For the price we paid, we never received even "close" to value. This place might be worth $30.00 less per night. Nearby hotels offer the same for less. If the entire wedding party wasn't staying here, we wold have left after the first night. You won't see me or my money again....no I can't recommend this hotel for more than $65.00 a night.

I am sorry that we did not come close to meeting your expectations. There were several areas that it appers we dropped the ball. I appreciate you taking the time to share w/me your experience so that I can address those areas with the respective departments. Our renovation in 2015 should make a big difference hopefully with your perception if you decide to give us a second chance. Being located on the largest marina and our proximity to Kemah/NASA/ and many local attractions does make us a destination property for many groups and reunions. Great view

Guy at front desk gave wrong info about breakfast hours. I didnt get a coupon for my nreakfast which was to be included. My room was large with a beautiful view. Everything was great

Nice overnight stay

Pros: Average.
Cons: I had to leave the resort for something to eat. It would be nice to be able to come downstairs for a nice lunch. the kitchen closed at 2PM.
Location: A good location with a lot of things to do.
An older resort. Some updates needed to my unit. Running toilet.
