Great place to stay.

Pros: The decor
Cons: The pillows and highway noise
Location: A little difficult to get get to, but once you figure it out, it's no big deal.
I really liked the decor. The rooms were very nice and clean. Bring your own pillow though. I did not like their pillows at all. There is some highway noise. I would defiantly stay here again and recommend it to anybody. Thanks for a great stay.

Ironman stay

Pros: welcoming staff
Location: numerous restaurants on I 45 and within The Woodlands area. Hotel backs up to a Wal-mar which is nice if you have forgotten anything.
I traveled there for a race in mid-May. They certainly took care of us with lot of Gatorade and water both after the race and the next day. This may seem like a small gesture but it shows they know their customers and willingness to go the extra mile. The rooms were clean and spacious with a fridge and microwave. The pool area is small but nice with toys, chairs, towels and hot tub. Was an enjoyable stay.

One of the best!

Pros: Above
Cons: No
Location: Texas A&M University, George Bush Museum, Jasper's, Houston Natural Science Museum,
We stayed 3 days for a College Station graduation when all the rooms there were booked. So glad we did! It was an easy drive there. The hotel was fresh and clean. Loved the room layout with the shower being separate from water closet. Comfortable furniture. Breakfast was among the best. Little things like umbrellas available at the door during the rain, and helpful staff just made it a perfect visit! Would definitely return!

Good hotel well located for The Woodlands
Posted Jan 10, 2013
We stayed at the Springhill Suites for one night ahead of the CB&I triathlon. It is just north of the main Woodlands area but an easy 5 min drive on the I-45 frontage road. The hotel is modern, clean and well furnished. There is a small bar and a continental breakfast is provided. There is a small outdoor pool, hot tub and splash pad. The rooms are a good size. We had a double queen. There is a separate lounge area that is screened from the main bedroom area. There was a refrigerator and microwave. Also the toilet was separate from the shower (no bath) which helps. We had a room on the I-45 side of the hotel and I did notice the traffic noise - but then we live in a very quiet area normally. My only complaint would be the unwillingness of the staff to help me change my reservation. I booked and prepaid with Expedia. Originally I booked a single King and then wanted to switch to a double Queen. Same price. Expedia directed me to the hotel but the staff wouldn't change the booking stating it was prepaid. On arrival though there was a double still available and they did make it available to us.
