Worst Experience Ever!!

Posted Sep 3, 2014
Cons: EVERYTHING.....hotel staff, cleaniless,
I was in town for a wedding and decided to book this hotel along with flight & car together. Upon arrival I saw a bunch of folks hanging out on the room balcony and a couple even arguing in plain sight. I checked-in with the staff to get my keys and the representative was not inviting at all or friendly. She never looked up at me, to greet me or welcome me and instead slammed the key card and wi-fi password on the counter. I'm from NYC so I am used to rudeness - but not to this extent. I proceeded to drive my car around to my room and as soon as I got out saw two men starring hard at me - as if they were confused why I would be pulling-up to the hotel. I went into my room and immediatly realized that the room had not been cleaned in about a week (carpet stains, food in trash, and bathroom smelled pretty bad). I called the receptionist to ask about her cancellation policy (20 mins after I checked in) to where she replied, "we don't do refunds". I decided I was not going to stay at this trashy hotel and checked out 20 mins after check-in. The receptionist didn't event care to ask why I was checking-ut almost as to say, 'who cares, we already have your money'. To make a long story short, I would not reccomend this hotel to my worst enemy.

Did not liked this hotel

Posted Aug 6, 2014
The hotel says non-smoking. When we were passing through rooms we saw many places occupants were smoking at front of their door. Cigarette smells were prevalent in both the booked rooms. The front desk does said that the hotel is non-smoking and if someone smokes they charge them. The kitchen has no cookwares. Though the Expedia image says so. The Microwave was not working properly. Everything was is appearing as wear and tear and old. Overall, I never though such bad state.

Not good

Posted May 12, 2014 on Hotels.com
I was very displeased. The room was not clean and I requested a non smoking room. The room smelled like smoke and there were smoke burns on the counters and bedding. I will not be staying at another Sun Suites again. The outside of the hotel looks better than the inside. I will not recommend any of my family or friends to stay at this hotel.

very basic motel

This is an ultra-basic motel. No elevator, no coffee in room, no shampoo, no breakfast, cheap towels and bedding, no flat-screen. Room smelled musty. I will not stay here again...

It's a pretty bad hotel, you should only stay there is there is no possible other choice. Having to walk on the carpet in the room or the tiles in the bathroom in bare feet is something you definitely want to avoid!

no frills place to stay

Pros: close to where I wanted to go for business
Cons: more attention to details such as soap, coffee packets
bare minimum, coffee pot but no coffee, kitchenette with plates, cups, eating utensils, stove, microwave, refrigerator. No pots to cook in, no dish washing soap to clean dishes.

My queen non-smoking

Posted Feb 18, 2014
I reserved a queen non smoking room. What i got was a stinky room with 2 double beds. When i called to complain about the smoky room, though i saw numerous empty rooms on lower floors (they put us on the 3rd floor because we were staying all night, i guess), i was told there were no other available rooms. The person from the front desk brought me a bottle of some other kind of stinky in a bottle to mask the smoke smell. She was in shock when she smelled the room, but this was obviously good acting because there were burn marks on the bathroom counter...uggggghhh! I was awake almost all night with cars racing back and forth on the street below. Not really worth the $aving$
