“Decent for the price...”

Overall this hotel is way cleaner than you'd expect for the area. It is older but maintained decently, and it was quiet. The room was clean, smelled nice - however the A/C wasn't on, so when we got there (at 6:30 pm) it was uncomfortable for several hours. This is Houston...it was a record breaking 107 that day. It would've been nice if someone had gone into the room to turn the air on prior to our arrival. The A/C did work great though, and in a few hours we were actually a bit chilly! Overall we were pleased with the experience. (I graded lower for location, because frankly, it is a lower income area and all that condition brings was evident at the Wal Mart across the street. Although having Wal Mart right there was a big convenience!)

“Not impressed”

Location is not ideal; very small hotel.

“Functional”

The rooms were in good shape and looked like they had been renovated recently. The exterior was rough and put you off as you drove in. Management was Indian, and acted indifferent. Not rude but not pleasant either. Breakfast was too basic so we ate next store at the Waffle House. 15 minutes from airport and an easy drive but very close to Handy Hardware.

“Great place to stay especiallyn for the price”

It's been a long time since I stayed in a motel but the Final Four visitors took all the closer rooms. To my surprise, it was a fine place to stay-quiet, modern, clean, comfortable and so reasonable.

“OK if all you need is a place to stay”

The rooms were sufficient and clean. The breakfast was very meager and cheap. The hotel operators were not very friendly.

“Average experience”

It is quite far away from the main city and the neighbour hood is not quite pleasant with just 1 or 2 restuarants. Otherwise the hotel rooms are quite spacious with a small refrigerator, a microwave, a coffemaker, a couch, a coffetable and other amneties. The rooms are well matained and cleaned. Hotel itself is quite good and withinn our budget except the location and its neighbour hood.

“Will stay again when back in the area”

The hotel was a short distance from the highway and in a quiet area. The hotel was somewhat new and I enjoyed the friendly staff (except for the house keeper helping at the front desk in the mornings who was rude and accused me incorrectly). Will stay again when I'm back in the area.

“Stayed there once before, pretty good.”

The first time I stayed there, they had just gone through a major re-model and everything was clean and nice. This go around, it was still pretty good, but I don't think they had been as diligent in their cleaning. There was someone else's hair in the tub (gross!) and there was no bar soap for the shower. I was too tired to go complain as I had just worked about 14 hours straight when I got there. Still not a bad stay for the money.
