Nice hotelPosted Nov 8, 2013
Good stay but away from everything as expected being on the highway. No shuttle bus to and from airport.

No frills motel - cheap, close to fast foodPosted Sep 22, 2013
They deliver what they promise so I'd recommend it someone looking for a budget hotel. It's about a $18 - 20 ride downtown which isn't too bad. Whataburger is also within walking distance.

Quick Downtown access w/o the Downtown pricePosted Aug 30, 2013
Pros: Quick access to downtown... great rates for what I got
Location: nothing really in walking distance... low income area... if it means anything to you it's a heavily Black area
If you just want a nice room that not flamboyant, but have quick access to the rest of Houston, this Super 8 offers that. Though the surrounding area itself doesn't have anything to offer, except a 24-hour What-A-Burger next door ^_^ , you are right on the NE corner of Hwy 610. I stayed here as I was in town to watch a couple of Astros games and it took me all of 8-10 minutes to get to Minute Maid Park and I was on the road in the 5-6pm hours Fri and Sat nights. My room was very adequate with an in-room A/C unit that worked perfectly as well as all plumbing. Again, the surrounding area, walking distance, is not why you are staying here as it's pretty much a lower income area. And as far as the complaints about the room number on your room card... yes it had it but nowhere on the card was the name of the hotel and the number could easily be removed. But no issues came out about during my stay... except ordering from the Pizza-Seafood place who had a menu in my room... don't do that!

website stated location was 4 miles from Minute Maid Center but was actually 9 miles we wanted to stay close to downtown to frequent resturants and bars. The location only had whataburger and subway for places to eat closeby. Location was more in the Industrial area.

Great Room for Price $$Posted Aug 12, 2013 on Hotels.com
One night stay for Astros game, was comfortable room once the a/c was turned on for a few hours. Too hot outside during this time of year to not have the a/c on during all hours for comfort to new guests. It was a good room for the price. Location was ok for going to Minute Maid Park. Seemed to be a lot of "truckers" who stay in that area and that motel. And they are very serious about that 11:00 am check-out time!!!
