Houston's Memorial Park, about a half-mile away, offers tennis courts, an arboretum and nature center, playing fields, a top-rated municipal golf course, and six miles of jogging and biking trails along bayous.

“Great Spot in Houston”

The Houstonian is wonderfully located near all of the major highways in Houston, but set back on a huge piece of land that makes you feel like you are way out in the country (or jungle). The hotel itself is very nice with great restaurants. What sets the hotel apart is access to the wonderful fitness center and two separate swimming pools. The staff is wonderful too. Having lived in Houston many years, this is my favorite place to stay when we go back to visit.

“One of Houston's Best”

We had a wonderful time at the Houstonian. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The exercise facilities were exceptional ! You will not find much better anywhere ! The spa was also a pleasure. Rooms are very comfortable and clean. Will stay there again when we return to Houston

“Beautiful Secluded Hotel”

Beautiful hotel hidden in a wooded area, but close to Galleria, shopping, and good restaruants. Room service was very goood.

“The ultimate in comfort.”

Stayed for business but felt like I was on vacation. From the early morning opportunities to excercise in their Texas size spa/gym to the down time in the lounge, it was a pleasant stay. Staff very accomodating, extremely clean rooms with a view of the trees that made you feel you were the only guest there. I would definitely go back, business or pleasure.

“Blown away”

My wife and I were blown away at the quality of this hotel. Everything from the personal attitude of the staff to the five star condition of their facilities far exceeded our wildest expectations. We would definitely check the availability of the Houstonian next time we're in south Texas!

“Nice small hotel.”

I am not certain how big this Hotel is but it feels very small. Not any big crowds and nots of employees to help. WHich we could have stayed longer.
