NIce and close to Medical CenterPosted Sep 12, 2014
Pros: proximity to Medical Center
Cons: Attention to little details
I have stayed here 7 or 8 times this year for work. It is usually very comfortable, clean and the staff is very pleasant. However there always seems to be one small issue each trip. horrible but small things like, bathroom light was burnt out, one elevator not working, or there was not coffee cups. The items are always quickly resolved. Other than that it is always clean and the staff is very pleasant and helpful.

LOW BUDGETPosted Sep 10, 2014
It is functional but not anything special. Elevators were having major problems when I was there meaning 5 minute waits to use them. Maids did not clean my room one day. If you can afford it, stay at the Marriott instead.

Near NRG stadium : )Posted Aug 26, 2014
Cons: need more choices in the sundry area
Location: nrg stadium and not too far from galleria
overall good - bar was good and pool. Parking not big enough but did have parking in back except doesn't look like its with the hotel so then why pay parking fee $8.00.

Cons: Management could have the customers with the barking dog.
We were very disappointed, since our nights and part of the days were interrupted with a barking dog We reported this to the clerk on duty the next morning and were told they would check it out. The second night the dog barked, the people had loud company late, and after they left, the couple renting the room had a yelling fight, then the dog barked more! Nothing was ever done, and NO PETS WERE ALLOWED1. We were there from Sunday night thru Saturday morning. Since our room had already been charged by Expedia, we could not move.

Not told about the construction.Posted Aug 23, 2014
Pros: After a long trip they did have a room available. The bellman upon check in was very helpful. The driver that took me to the Village (Pregos)
Cons: Well that could take some time.
Location: On Main Street and the Village was very nice.
When I arrived the entrance was under construction. I complained at the front desk and the front desk clerk stated that they would waive/comp the parking fee since I was unaware of the construction. Upon checkout I received a bill for the parking. I phoned for a bellman but the person answering the phone kept asking what I wanted and put me on hold which after 5 minutes I hung up and left myself. When I came down to the lobby there was no one at the front desk, bell stand or anywhere else. So I just left my key and left the building.

Clean rooms and very close to the Medical Center.Posted Aug 21, 2014
Pros: Well maintained
Location: Close to MD Anderson Cancer Center
The only negative, and it's very minor, was that the ice bucket didn't have a liner. Everything else was clean and properly stocked.
