"Awesome, Beautiful hotel close to Minute Maid Park"
It was beautiful, clean, smelled so good upon entering, staff was extremely kind and attentive. The breakfast buffet was delicious so much variety of different foods for every age, that was my kids favorite part of the hotel besides the pool up on the rooftop. Vallet Parking guys were awesome as well, very kind. Shuttle service is the best part they take you anywhere in the downtown area. It was an amazing experience I stayed there for the Beyoncé concert and I don't have any regrets. After the concert I enjoyed the fireplace in the lobby no one bothered me at all, I asked for extra blankets they were up in my room in less then 5 mins. I'll stay there again on my next trip when Queen B performs again :)

"Wonderful Hotel Experience"
My wife and I stayed at the Westin for our anniversary and simply could not have asked for a better experience. The hotel is located catty-corner to Minute Maid Park in the new and upcoming east end of downtown Houston. The building architecture mirrors that of Minute Maid, the décor is impressive and elegant, the room was spacious, comfortable and clean, and the staff was knowledgeable, polite and extremely helpful. Not only would I recommend this hotel, I would urge anyone considering staying in the area to stay there. No doubt you will be as impressed as my wife and I were.

"Night on the town"
My husband and I live in Houston but due to the fact I work downtown we decided on going to see a show at the Hobby Center. The Lancaster was in perfect distance for walking to the venue. I was intially afraid it might rain on us and contact the front desk and was informed they had "enough umbrellas to make Mary Poppins blush", I thought that was cute and appreciated how preparred they were should bad weather arrive on us. Had a wonderful evening at the theater and a increadible breakfast before walking back to my office the next morning. Thank you Lancaster for such a nice and restful overnight get away.

"Good value hotel located in central downtown"
Reception was very friendly and helpful with recommendations on what to do whilst in town and directions. Although there was construction work going on over the weekend (they were repairing the metro line) the hotel was accommodating in my request to have a room on the quiet side of the hotel. Pool was very nice and welcoming esp. given the humidity in Houston.
