budget hotel next door to night market.Posted Aug 15, 2014
Pros: Its in the city central.
Cons: The vacant space at the room/hotel ground floor should be convert to selling food to maximise profit.
Location: Take the songthaew at the hotel right side to go to the Market Village B$10.
For the price, no complain. plenty of seafood stall around hotel. those going back to Bkk can book minivan directly opposite hotel for B$180.

Good choice for budget hotelPosted May 5, 2014
Pros: The location is very good and the rooms are simple, but clean and nice. The staff was helpful and friendly. The price is very good for what you get.
Cons: The only thing I can suggest would for the hotel to put a kettle and coffee/tea in the rooms. Other than that, everything was very pleasant.
Location: Close to the Hua Hin night market and only a 10 minute walk to the beach.
I have stayed at Baan Manthana 3 times now over the past 3 years. It is a nice and quiet hotel and a good deal for the price paid. The rooms are simple and clean with hot water and air conditioning, television, and comfortable beds. Baan Mathana has a very good location which is right next to the night market and only a ten minute walk to the beach. It is in the heart of Hua Hin so it is also close to many shops, restaurants, coffee shops, and easy to get transportation to Cicada Market on weekends. Staff was helpful and friendly.

Very well located.Posted Mar 8, 2014
Pros: large clean room and friendly staff
Cons: tidy up reception
Location: heaps of eating, shopping and night market
We enjoyed our 6 days The hotel is close to dozens of great eating spots and not far from the beach. The pool is clean and good for sun bathing, the room large, very clean and most efficient a/c. The entrance is underwhelming but staff most helpful and friendly

Great LocationPosted Feb 25, 2014 on Hotels.com
I stayed here for 2 nights in February. The location is great for both the beach (10 minutes walk) and the night market (2 mins walk). My room was clean, spacious and everything worked.

Stayed 2 nights. Found the room was okay, clean, bathroom shower was great. The location was about a 15 minute walk to the beach, 5 minutes to the night market. The pool was an added bonus.

Basic room but comfortable and cleanPosted Nov 25, 2013 on Hotels.com
I love the location of the place, very convenient and central. My room was in the new section so the furniture was probably new and the room recently renovated. I actually did not check out the pool so I have no idea about that. Wifi strength is pretty weak, sad to say, but good enough for email and whatsapp.

a reasonable option for budget-conscious travelersPosted Nov 21, 2013 on Hotels.com
Baan Manthana is very accessible from the train station--no tuk-tuk necessary--and is located close to local nightlife. The room was pretty bare-bones, the mattress was quite hard, and the lights make that annoying buzz that they do in horror films. For the price, that's more or less to be expected. The wireless works well, and the balcony is large. I only stayed overnight in preparation for a different trip, and when my pick-up didn't show up, the staff helped me to call the office more than once and straighten out the matter. If you're on a budget, this hotel is a good option, but be sure to moderate your expectations accordingly.

Great Location.Posted Nov 5, 2013
Pros: Baan Manthana is close to everything, and it's easy to get around from the hotel.
Cons: The WiFi signal was poor. Also a better explanation of how to get to the beach, and which part of the beach is the best to see would have been nice.
Location: The night market is very close. It's also close to nightlife/bars, the mall, and the beach.
Baan Manthana was easy to find, and quite a few of the locals knew where it was as well. The balcony was huge, and the room was very spacious. The staff were kind enough to help us with various inquiries. The beach was close and the night market was even closer. Very accessible and comfortable, I would stay here again.

Nice clean hotel in convenient spot.Posted Oct 13, 2013
Pros: Location and cleanliness
Recently refursished rooms are very comfortable. Staff are very friendly but have limited command of English. Location is great with many bars and restaurants nearby, taxi stand in street outside and night markets around the corner. Very cheap rates for a clean and comfortable stay. Will use this hotel for my next visit.
