very nice resortPosted Jun 17, 2014
Pros: room size and comfort, the pool at the back door, hotel employees are friendly and helpful, the home made strawberry jam is a must to try at breakfast
Cons: rooms are becoming a little dated, although still servicable. pricing in view of this is also a little on the expensive side
Location: will need a car but most hua hin attractions are within reach, new water park being built looks interesting and that will be very close
this was the second time we have stayed at this resort, its very relaxing to have the pool at the back door and the kids loved the spa... hotel is getting a bit dated now and soon will need some renovation to keep up with the competition in the area, breakfast is nice with a good selection to keep everyone happy, although there is a shuttle sevice from the hotel i suggest your own transport is pretty much required as the resort is not really near anything.

Great hotel/resort, happily recommend.Posted Jun 7, 2014
We stayed as a couple at Banyan Hua Hin for three nights. We were a bit nervous due to the distance between the hotel and the beach/markets, however, the staff made travel to and from simple with the free shuttle running regularly and we did not use a taxi while there. The resort itself is fantastic, with nice gardens and views. The size and height of the rooms as well as the swimming facilities were a real highlight. We had breakfast and dinner there and both were great. The only downside was that the resort was a bit quiet during the week which took away from the atmosphere in the restaurant/bar, and the water pressure in the shower was very low. If you're a tourist and into gardening, I strongly recommend taking a look at the small plant stalls all along the opposite side of the road, there were lots of exotic plants and flowers galore.

Nice hotel with a poor management.Posted Feb 8, 2014
Pros: the swimming pool and spacious villas
Cons: the quality of services, the shuttle bus frequency
Smoking people at breakfast disturb everyone, no management take any action The shuttle bus to breaches or town is not enough, which push to use their friend's private taxi. Poor staff service quality who are not responsive and forget what is asked Nice Villas, nice pool, perfect for someone who want to be independent and doesn't need service from hotel staff --------- The name is almost a cheating, as the golf is not onsite, but 7 km away, 20 minutes drive, with a private car again as the shuttle seems always booked. Be careful, there is no golf in this resort.

Good but needs a refurbPosted Nov 13, 2013 on Hotels.com
Lovely resort but a few problems like front doors didn't lock properly and some fittings were not the best quality. Positives were the pool which was great and the food in the restaraunt was good quality. Staff were good despite a few small issues on checkout!

Very good resort hotel and outclass breakfast hotel is little far from the street but no need to go there all the time just once for the dinner

Clean large townhouse with private poolPosted Jan 13, 2013 on Hotels.com
We had four nights at Banyan. If you play golf you would love it. We did not play golf but dtill had a great time. The breafast buffet was fantastic. The townhouse had everthing we needed and the spa was wonderful. The location is out of the way but the shuttle bus was great.

Very good resort. Somewhat isolated in locationPosted Aug 23, 2012 on Hotels.com
This is an amazing resort just outside Hua Hin. The property is very well maintained and staff are very obliging. We had a 2 bed jacuzzi villa. The villas are quite new and modern with a small kitchenette. Both bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms. Like others, I think the pools in the pool villas are quite small and you are isolated from the other villas (kids like to mingle). The long communal pool is quite good and is literally just behind the villas. Buffet breakfast is also excellent with a good variety of European and Thai options. Be aware that the resort is somewhat isolated and it is a 10 minute taxi ride into Hua Hin. There is not really much within walking distance. There is a free transfer bus either into Hua Hin or to Takiab beach but this only runs about every 3 hours. It is easy enough to get a taxi or tuk tuk to and from the resort. Overall, an excellent place to stay.

Great Stay @ Banyan Resort For My FamilyPosted Dec 26, 2011 on Hotels.com
Had 3 wonderful nights @ Banyan resort for my family with 3 yound kids. Stayed @ Villa with private jacuzzi & pool is nice which is very safe for kids as the depth is 1.3m deep. My kids enjoyed themselves @ the pool all day long & night time was spent playing Wii games, dart & pool @ the sports bar. Breakfast spread was alright with limited selection. Location was a bit far from town & the resort only provided free transport to the town @ 4 different timings daily. Overall stay @ resort was wonderful & my family enjoyed ourselves very much.
