staff excellent
In the main our stay was ok. Staff excellent, area quiet, breakfast filling. Unfortunately poor design with shower & bath as one. Excessive water on the floor, accident waiting to happen when stepping out of bath tub. Water just warm, but hotel very busy with 2 or 3 large groups stay there, also creating less parking. I would probably stay there again if price is right again

Location and price. The hotel is an older hotel in the area, but is well maintained and clean. Beach across the street and plenty of places to eat, including the street vendors. Cha-Am community is still trying to recover from COVID-19 closures and small business around the hotel have closed or limited hours.

Another Good Stay at the Long Beach
We have stayed at the Long Beach several times. The property is on the older side but they make a good effort to keep it clean and presentable. The staff are very helpful without being too obtrusive. The breakfast is quite good but they have to make adjustments for the COVID situation, so some of the offerings are in individual serving cups, so not as warm as when they are in a buffet pan, but safety 1st (especially when not all of the customers are compliant with mask requests in the food area). The swimming areas are clean and as good as ever and, interestingly enough, the guests in the pool areas ALL followed distancing and other COVID measures. We had a nice time and will return.

A Nice & Reasonable Place
We've stayed at Long Beach before. We like the setting on the quiet, north end of Cha-am Beach. The staff are pleasant and professional without being too obtrusive. Rooms are a nice size and ours was clean. Adequate amenities. Beds are comfortable. Wifi worked well. Only issues were that the lighting in the room was quite dim, and they don't have electric outlets to speak of. There's a 2-prong near the vanity desk and another in the bathroom. The only 3-prong with ground is the outlet that the TV & refrigerator are plugged into. We've stayed before, so packed our own extension strip. Breakfast is great for a buffet. Lots of Thai choices. Adequate Western choices, including a nice variety of breads and ample bacon. They have 2 swimming pools. One is a standard pool of a very good size. The other is a smaller pool that is great for kids. It is equipped with a slide and other play objects, plus has a fair sized kiddie pool area. All told, an easy and pleasant place to stay.

Breakfast was a huge disappointment for me. Bacon was like inedible leather and coffee was black warm water. Restaurant staff could not speak any English.

Quick visit..
We only spent 1 brief night here for an early morning Beach Run the next day, so we didnt get full use of the hotel! However, the time we spent here was excellent.

Very Nice Mid-Range Choice
We stay in Cha-am several times a year and have tried about half a dozen hotels. Long Beach is our new favorite. We had a standard room. It's a little on the small side but not tiny. Comfortable. Not much of a view from the balcony unless you are upper floors, but we could spot the sea from the 5th floor. Bathroom amenities adequate. Shower has multiple shower heads. Water heats quickly. TV has a nice sampling of stations, including 3 or so English language as well as other Euro language stations. They have 2 swimming pools, one a little more sedate and the other a playland for the kids (slide, swinging bridge, etc). Both pools have childrens' wading areas. Lots of families were drawn to this hotel. The beach is just a minute or two walk away, and they are at the far quieter north end of the beach. They also have their own private beach area with chairs and umbrellas. The breakfast buffet is easily the best of these that we've found in the price range of Long Beach. Nice salad variety. Freshly made eggs. 4 or 5 choices of breads. A nice assortment of baked goods, and a reasonable choice of fruits. And they had bacon. Real bacon. Plus they have a nice variety of Thai offerings as well. A very pleasant buffet. The establishment is a little on the older side but they work hard to make sure things are clean and presentable. Staff is very attentive. Wi-fi was strong (though you do have to log in quite often if you let it sit). A well run hotel. We enjoyed our stay and will return.

Good hotel
Stayed here on a beach holiday only 50 metres from beach rooms are large enough well cleaned daily with bedding changed water is nice and hot TV is ok not to good if you only speck English!good pools superb staff service is very good the breakfast is good for European s as well as Asian ...there are quite a few restaurants close to the hotel at good prices overall our stay was a good one

An older European hangout, not for the younger set . Excellent service and a good varied selection for breakfast Two minute walk to the beach and the loungers and shade umbrellas. It felt like a 4.5 star hotel.

Overall the hotel was okay. Unfortunately the pool slide needed to be repaired after the first day and was still not fixed by the end of the week. The restaurant too was under repair. Therefore the other cafes offered food but only at a limited menu and okay taste. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Love location and the pools.
Very nice stay, friendly staffs, clean, the pools are amazing - they have two pools. Many restaurants around. The down side is the poor wifi and the gym it is old. The TV it is from stone age. In general is good but they should start to renovate the rooms, the gym and dining hall otherwise everything will be toooooo old very soon.

Charming hotel near the beach
Hotel is a little old but has recently been renovated. It is clean and quite comfortable live in with a glimpse of the sea in the distance. Within close proximity to the beach. Food and massage services readily available just outside the hotel although i wouldn't recommend eating at the many fusion restaurants there as they are all overpriced and does not taste good. The area is quite boring with the same types of shops everywhere around. Not easy to find transport to get to places of interest, you'll likely have to book transport from a tour agency. This will be a good place to stay if you just intend to be at the beach all day but can be quite boring if you're staying longer. Hotel room is clean and rooms and balconies are spacious,albeit a little old. Breakfast at the hotel has quite a wide spread of options as well. This hotel does not have cable TV in case you're looking to watch some quality programs in the hotel. Cha-Am is quite a distance from HuaHin itself, so if you're planning to visit places of Interest in Huahin, be sure to book transport in advance. Santorini Waterpark and Swiss Sheep Farm are some fun placed you can go as a family, they are about 20mins away by car.

Well I vowed never to return here after my last visit 2 years ago, but I m glad I did! Room renovation work is complete so no noise. They are building a new pool at the back which should be good when complete. Free wifi in room now but you have to mess around with daily codes from reception. Breakfast still good but restaurant is tired and in need of an update. Rooms are pleasant enough but no mini bar. Reception area has been updated and is very modern. Couldn t fault the staff. Recommend to anyone but a bit overpriced and at the North end of Cha am beach which is a bit a trek to the main part, if you have no transport.
