A 152-meter (500-foot) to 120 meter (394-foot) pool sculpted in a series of channel-linked open areas and featuring a beach entry, built-in lounges, and a garden island is situated parallel to the beach. An eight-person spa tub and a 6-meter (20-foot) diameter toddlers' pool containing a playground can be found at one end.
Although all beaches in Mexico are public, the resort's 300-meter (328 ft) frontage on Tangolunda Bay is accessible to the public only from the ocean, leaving the beach for the exclusive use of resort guests. Thatched-roof palapas provide shade on the beach and on a sunbathing lawn bordering the pool. Other palapas shelter an open-air massage area and a crafts/hair-braiding area (surcharges). The resort also provides beach loungers, towels, and umbrellas.
There are no water sports available on the beach, but an independent operator at the resort arranges water sports rentals/services such as personal watercraft, kayaks, scuba diving, and fishing. Other recreation in the area includes river rafting (in summer rainy season) and ATV tours.
The resort offers an artificial-grass tennis court (surcharge for night play). The 18-hole championship golf course serving the Tangolunda area lies 3 km (1.75 mi) from the resort.
