Nice beaches and lots of sunshine.Posted Oct 17, 2014
Pros: Nice beaches and lots of sun.
Cons: Room supplies. Being proactive to guests' needs. No request, no matter how small, should be ignored.
Location: Santa Crucecita is a nice town. Lots of little restaurants and a few art galleries.
A hotel such as Las Brisas, if indeed a four star, should be accommodating to its guests. Las Brisas is just like the one in Ixtapa with the difference being that the one in Ixtapa is nicer. A beach hotel should make it easy for the guests to have accessibility to clean towels and clean non itchy old sheets. Time to get rid of old sheets that cause discomfort. Workers are pleasant. However, I think management is concerned with the bottom line so, the maid was stingy with the soap and shampoo. We received one small bottle for two and of course it ran out. We asked and were given one more the following day. We had a hard time getting towels. No hand towels nor washcloths which is fine as we can do with out it. It was the slow season for tourists so the hotel should have been more accommodating to our needs. Most people seemed to be on an inclusive stay and we were not. We paid for the breakfast every morning. It is varied and lots of options. Buffet style. A little expensive but not outrageous. . We began to think that we were not important guests because we traveled with Expedia. Sometimes hotels don't like certain type of guests. Another adventure Nevertheless, after three days of five we were ready to leave. So much I could say about our stay.

This was a fantastic vacation from the start to enPosted May 19, 2014
Cons: I can't think of anything.
Location: If you are looking to relax and enjoy nature, there's no need to look anywhere else.
Everything about the vacation was perfect. The hotel, the beach, the food, the personnel. The ride from the airport to the hotel, was pleasant. I would recommend the hotel over and over again.

Great swimming beachesPosted Apr 7, 2014
Pros: The beaches
Cons: Food variety
Location: Easy access to go to La Cruecita - great town and all of the locals were extremely nice. The whole area is eco friendly t
Three different beaches offer interests for everyone - calmer waters make swimming and water sports accessible for all. You can get all the exercise you want walking up and down the roads to your room, lobby area and beaches - but there are rides if that proves too strenuous for you. We didn't go all-inclusive and the expenses weren't out of line.

Dont believe that there is airconditioningPosted Apr 2, 2014 on Hotels.com
I have stayed at Club Meds which were pristinely clean. EX: there was a dirty Q-tip not ours in the doorway of our room the entire stay. There were other things also. This one had a lot of issues on that front. We hated our first day as we were put in a room that it turns out the management knew the air conditioning system in The Clouds complex did not work. Finally we were moved after insisting. Food is good and healthy but not particularly chefs quality. If you are looking for 4 or 5 star restaraunts then this is not your place. People were kind and the beach was great. Pools were a little warm for my taste but most people liked them. My friend enjoyed the activities. I will say that the shuttles around the property were very satisfactory.

Wonderful resort with space to relaxPosted Mar 30, 2014
It was our 6th visit. Fits with our idea of a good, relaxing vacation. Bathrooms have been re-done and are very nice. Water (showers) are better. Room pick ups (transportation) improved over previous years. We didn't wait over 5 minutes for a ride to the lobby. Air conditioning not totally effective but it was very warm when we were there and a bit humid as well. The food wasn't quite as good as in previous years - less prawns in the menu, no ice cream in the Bella Vista at lunch and the dinner menu at the Mexican restaurant has been changed and not for the better. These are minor annoyances and we will definitely return to this resort. The staff continues to be very friendly and helpful. The bread and pastries are phenomenal. This was a family vacation and all of our adult children (ages 30 - 37) we're impressed with and thoroughly enjoyed their stay. They loved the beach and the chance to find personal space when they wanted. Like us, they were totally impressed with the beautiful landscaping and cleanliness of the resort.

Solid 2 starPosted Feb 25, 2014 on Hotels.com
This is not a upscale resort. It is a solid 2 star resort. The Mexican dinner was nice, front desk friendly and accommodating but there is so much that was underwhelming and poor.

The hotel was nice. The staff & beaches were greatPosted Feb 14, 2014
Very friendly staff! Brush up on your Spanish before you go. Beautiful beaches never too packed. The only downfall to our stay was the food. It was mediocre at best. But everything else was great
