"Great hotel"
This is a really good base if you are visiting Huddersfield as it's near to the town centre and the university. The staff are very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are very tastefully decorated and have everything you could ask for and the public areas are very nice too. Overall a lovely hotel .

"Lovely hotel on a steep hill"
The Pinfold Guest house is a very nice and homely place. For 5 nights including breakfast it was definitely not too expensive. Especially since breakfast was really really good. The only thing that kind of shocked me was the breakfast times, since I'm not a morning person, but it was well worth it!

"Friendly B&B in Huddersfield."
We stayed at Woods End B&B for two nights as we were visiting family in Huddersfield. Julie was very welcoming and made us feel most welcome. The room was very comfortable and all facilities were as we expected them. My husband had the Full English Breakfast and I had the Continental. Both were delicious and everything was fresh and served with a smile. This was the first time I had stayed at a B&B and I loved it!

"Family wedding"
We were attending a family wedding at the hotel so it was the obvious choice to stay there, there were a lot of the wedding party staying there as people were travelling long distances to be at the wedding. Everyone's room was ready, quick check in, helpful pleasant staff, on the way into breakfast one of the party asked for an iron when they went back to the room an iron and ironing board was already there. Breakfast was buffet style an excellent selection of fruit, cereal. pastries, and freshly cooked english speedy but not rushed. We ate in the Italian on site restaurant on Friday evening also excellent. The wedding was well organised and again food very good and the function room was lovely. All in all a superb weekend.

The Three Acres Inn & Restaurant

"Excellent Restaurant with Rooms"
Three Acres is peacefully located yet near M1 J38 and close to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park, the Hepworth in Wakefield, Leeds City Art Gallery and the like. It's certainly worth visiting for its restaurant alone, though don't expect bargain prices. Based on our experience, the rooms are on the expensive side for what they provide. Ours was warm and clean and in good order (though the television reception was poor), but lacking in little things such as space to lay out toiletries, hooks on which to hang bath robes, and somewhere to sit other than on the bed. All fine for one night's stay but a little tiresome if you are staying longer as we did. The staff were friendly and very helpful and breakfast huge (included in the price of the room).

"Nice hotel convenient for M62"
We stayed here while visiting family, so for us it was just a place to sleep. However it was very nice. Convenient for the M62 so would suit business travellers. There were several parties going on during our stay but we couldn't hear any noise. No elevator to 2nd floor which may be a problem for people with limited mobiity, so request a ground floor room.
