Dining -Limited menu. More a Bistro than Restaurant. Very little choice on the Mains for meat lovers, i.e.Assorted Burgers or Ribeye steak (which was very good).
Dining staff lovely , however need direction.
It is frustrating,as one feels that the Hotel is nearly there, but still has a lot to learn!

we really enjoyed staying here, the decor was lovely and modern without sacrificing comfort. The only criticism we could make was that the rooms were quite compact for two people, we were constantly sidestepping each other when getting ready to go out but that's a minor complaint! Will return when in the area again, excellent value and very welcoming staff.

I use this for a business associate who visits Huddersfield regularly. The best value hotel in Huddersfield. Staff are very professional, location is perfect for working in town and the overall facilities are quite adequate. Rooms are small but for overnight stays that is not a problem. Price/value is the best of the surrounding hotels.

Greeted by friendly, helpful staff. Room could do with updating but it had a comfortable bed, tv, was very clean and for us a bonus, a smoking room available. Have paid a lot more for a much worse room. Easy access to the motorway. Will definitely stay again when we visit family in Huddersfield.

Stayed on Saturday night to see Average White Band at the Picturedrome and then catch the Tour de Yorkshire on the Cote de Holmfirth.
Had the room immediately above the pub (Bilberry)so some noise carried from downstairs though not too disturbing but other than that ...
the room was modern, comfortable and had everything it needed
there was also a lounge and kitchen for use of guests which were well appointed
staff were all really friendly and helpful
fantastic meal in the Tap Room before the concert
didn't try the pub but sampled the beers with dinner -excellent

Just 17 km (11 mi) south of Bradford, Huddersfield is well known for its important role in the Industrial Revolution and for being the birthplace of rugby. Full of Victorian era architecture, Huddersfield's railway station recently underwent a £1 million renovation and is the winner of the Europa Nostra award for European architecture.
