Not so good.

Romm looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in weeks. Smelled like cigarettes. Pool was cold.

Quiet stay by a cool train ride...

Posted Feb 19, 2015 on Hotels.com
Our comforter had dirt on it. We didn't get a laundry bag and coffee until we asked for them. It needs updated and a maintenance man. The breakfast was fine, average. The Clarion is one minute closer to anything. The hotel is snuck back in a corner, but close to the highway. The pool was fine and the hotel attendants were helpful and accommodating. You don't need a room card to get in to any side doors, which is odd and unsafe. Hot tub in the room was cool!

Adequate Stay at the Baymont Inn & Suites

Posted Feb 18, 2015 on Hotels.com
Everything about the hotel was adequate - not amazing - just adequate. The young man on the front desk when we checked in was very, very nice. The room was fine - smelled a bit funny - maybe not occupied for awhile? The king-sized bed was extremely comfortable. There are a few downsides to this hotel. The walls are paper thin and you can hear people's conversations. It's a bit complicated to get to when coming from OHIO SR #8 South. (Coming from OHIO SR #8 North is very easy - just take exit 15.) Another drawback is there is nothing within walking distance and no restaurants at all close by. The hotel itself has a continental breakfast only (no restaurant). We didn't try the continental breakfast so I can't speak to that. We likely wouldn't stay at this particular hotel again because there are no amenities unless you drive to them (no restaurants, grocery stores, drug stores, gas stations...)

Not worth it at any price

Posted Feb 14, 2015
I was so shocked at the room presentation and the condition of the furnishings that I took photos!! Both the easy chair and the desk chair were broken, only the center of the floor had been vacuumed, the vanity top in the bathroom was dirty, and there were holes in the blanket on the bed!! The ice bucket was so filthy that I put ice in a plastic bag and reluctantly set it in the sink. I am no shrinking violet, I worked construction for 25 years, I traveled and stayed in some pretty gamey run down places and with one exception (that involved rodents climbing on the bed in the middle of the night) this was the worst. I would have changed rooms but I'd been driving for over 8 hours and just needed to sleep and go.

decent

Posted Feb 13, 2015 on Hotels.com
the room appeared to be clean, however when we walked into it, it smelled like someone just heated up leftovers consisting of a garlic origin.....the towels also have seen their better days, overall though, and decent stay for the price.

Location

Pros: Close to Casino and diners.
Cons: directions
Location: Casino, Rock in roll hall of fame
I enjoyed the hotel once we got there but our GPS wanted us to turn were there was no exit. I guess the road had changed. Maybe once you book it wouldn't hurt to add some local directions such as what exit to use to get to hotel. The desk clerk said he often gave direction when people got close to hotel he was very polite and helpful.

weekend getaway

Posted Feb 3, 2015 on Hotels.com
Literally the quietest hotel we have ever been to. The room was very clean and comfortable and had all the amenities we needed and then some! The only negative was that there was a very strong unpleasant odor in the foyer as soon as we came into the building from the parking lot. This odor was not present in the room at all. We would definitely stay again! And the young man at the desk - Alex - was very friendly and personable - all you could ask for in a desk clerk and more. Perfect demeanor. This kind needs to be rewarded!
