Don't try calling..Posted Jun 3, 2015
Pros: The hotel was clean and the pool was nice- the breakfast was more than I had expected
Cons: The phone skills of Tara the receptionist- there is no reason to be so mean on the phone
Location: It's in Hershey PA and Hershey park was amazing- you need more than a day to see it all
The hotel was clean and the overall appearance was nice- beautiful pool and the continental breakfast was way more than I expected- Eggs, sausage, french toast, cereal muffins and assorted pastries as well as yogurt, coffee, tea, mild and juices However the first time I called to ask about checking in the day before my arrival, I was placed on hold for 15 minutes- They told me when I was about an hour away and it wouldn't be a problem The next day, when I was about an hour away I called- and was left on hold for OVER 20 MINUTES! So I called from another cell phone when the receptionist picked up and asked me to hold I told her - No I was holding already for (now at this point) 25 minutes that I just wanted to let them know that I was now 45 minutes away- The receptionist, Tara, was rude and had awful phone skills. She didn't like that I had called from another phone and made sure I knew it

Very old hotel. Room key cards often did not work. Mold in bathroom.

NightmarePosted Apr 6, 2015
We did not have a good experience. It was an unorganized chaos. Not enough towels for us, the so called breakfast closet did not have enough tables. We ate elsewhere. Very basic!!

Nice room. Stale air in hallways.Posted Mar 30, 2015 on Hotels
My room was very nice. The hotel staff were very kind. But the hallways smelled a bit like cigarette smoke.

Old, run-down motel on noisy road.Posted Mar 16, 2015
Pros: Easy to find. Nothing else.
Cons: Better cleaning staff, better supervision, investing in bleach.
Location: Near Hershey Medical Center, HersheyPark, and Hummelstown.
When I checked in, the key cards did not work on my room so I got new ones and the desk person came to make sure the new ones worked, i.e I was obviously too stupid to use a key card. The room had 2 made-up beds, but one looked like someone had lain on it so I got a differrent room, not knowing what else might not have been cleaned. The second room had a curtain with a torn hem, desk lamp so dusty I wrote a ? on it for the cleaning staff, and the plastic (glued on) beige plastic on the tub floor was grey with dirt. I put a towel on the tub floor to take a shower. The next day when I returned to my room at 10 pm, having been out all day, the bed was not made, but the baskets and wet towels had been removed. When I complained at the desk, and picked up towels from a staff person returning to the desk, the response was did I leave "personal items" on the bed. No apology. When I left the following day, the person checking me out was wearing a dirty uniform shirt, but it appears that person works 24/7, so perhaps he never left to put on clean clothes.

Bad expereincePosted Mar 10, 2015 on Hotels
Have stayed at many Best Westerns in past but would not stay at this hotel again. We asked to speak to manager concerning an issue with a noisy pet and we never heard from a manager. Dirty towels were not taken, no extra toilet paper left, and the toilet clogged.

An average hotelPosted Dec 30, 2014 on Hotels
We worked visiting Hershey in as a stop in our way to Niagara Falls. I did some looking around and choose this Best Western based on photos. It seems like they have tried to update the rooms but the hotel itself still felt very, very old. The rooms we're clean though. It was fine for one night. Breakfast was a typical spread but very skimpy, and the waffle maker was broken. Over all, it was fine; not the best and not the worst I've stayed in.
