Nightmare in Hershey

This room was rented for one evening 2//20 in anticipation of my grandchildren's birthday party the next day. I rarely rent rooms out. This was a virtual nightmare. You to crack in ceiling. I took pictures. Receipt on coffee pot tray, dated 2/9 from prior customer, when the room was rented 2/20. The room had not been cleaned since then. Hair in the bathtub. Manager stated the room should never have been booked, but refused to adjust my rate at all. Wi-Fi was nonexistent. This was a joke. I intend to go on yelp for both hotels.com and Econolodge to warn people not to rent through hotels.com northis Econolodge at Hummelstown. With the amount of traffic I would assume you get for Hershey Park, you would think this hotel would be better maintained.

This was more than enough

Arrived and was greeted by the manager Sharon who was friendly and helpful. If you are looking for someplace with a clean bathroom, sheets and a central location this is it. They do offer low frills contintenal breakfast, free wifi, and a variety of cable cans You can walk to 3 resturants. And are only up the street for dining, k mart, grocery stores and Hershey

Convenient place to sleep

Great location for nearby convention. Very convenient to a lot of dining options. Not pretty.... Cracks in ceiling, gap under door let outside cold air in, clock didn't work, needs cosmetic work.... but clean

Nice clean hotel for the price.

Check was quick and easy when arriving late at night. Very comfortable beds and our room was very clean. Hotel is older but I would stay again.

Decent room for the price

Our first night, the alarm clock in the unoccupied room next door went off at midnight and beeped until 2am. Tried calling the front desk & my husband even went down, no one was there or answering any phone extension. Spoke to the manager in the morning, she apologized and said the overnight staff had been in the laundry room working. She made sure they accessed the room and fixed the alarm clock so it wasn't a problem the second night. Overall, it was a decent room for the price and there was a great Italian restaurants next door so it was easy to walk over for dinner.
