Very enjoyable three day stay in very pleasant surrounds. Staff were very helpful. Room very comfortable and of a good size for a couple. Views from our room and the hotel in general very picturesque. Hotel was well located and close to all activities that we had planned for our stay, in particular the HV Gardens and major wineries.

We enjoyed our stay at the Mercure resort. We would definitely stay again and recommend to friends. We really enjoyed the gardens. Harrigans Pub is a great eatery if you have children. I liked the music at the wineries, made a nice atmosphere for sitting outdoors with a wine. Tasting of oils, dukkah and olives were good. Sacred Heart Markets at St Brigids, Branxton, was very entertaining.
The weather was exceptional, we were very lucky! I haven't been to the Hunter Valley for about 40 yrs, and was very impressed. A lovely holiday!
